Overnight: Cairo Hotel

Day 2 of your tour begins with a gourmet breakfast and hotel check-out, along with a meeting with your personal Egyptologist guide, who will reveal the secrets of Ancient Egypt. Your tour begins at the Giza Pyramids Complex, which has dominated this plateau for over 4,000 years, making it the oldest structure in the world. You will visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, which is an astronomical wonder and the last remaining monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Constructed in 2580 BC using 2.3 million limestone pieces, this 147-meter wonder held the record for being the world's tallest structure for 3,800 years and is also known as the oldest enigma in the world because of its complex design and massive size.

The story of history goes on at the Great Sphinx, the globe’s most secretive protector. Carved from a single limestone rock, this legendary being has the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre, symbolizing the ultimate blend of strength and intelligence. Named ‘Abu Al-Hawl’ or ‘The Father of Terror,’ it stands majestically at 73 meters long, watching over the sands of time. Right behind, you’ll find yourself in the Valley Temple, the holy dwelling of the Mummification Process. Built during the Old Kingdom Period, this well-preserved landmark yields crucial data regarding the burial customs of the ancient civilization, along with exclusive diorite statues of King Khafre.

Next, you will move on to the future of archaeology at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). This state-of-the-art museum, seamlessly designed to blend in with the Giza Pyramids, covers 490,000 square meters and represents a glorious entrance to 5,000 years of history. In this museum, you will be able to view the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and the famous complete collection of Tutankhamun.

Lunch Time Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. Then we will move to continue your Cairo, Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel holiday by visiting Egyptian Museum.

Lastly, you will end your museum visits at the classic Egyptian Museum, which houses the largest collection of ancient artifacts in the world. In this museum, over two levels, you will find some of the world's most precious and invaluable archaeological treasures, which have survived over 4,000 years of civilization before you depart to the airport to take your plane to the south.

Finally, you will drive to Cairo Airport then catch your flight to Luxor then check-in 5* hotel for spending the overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Flight: From Cairo to Luxor

Overnight: Luxor Hotel

On the third day of your Egypt holiday package, you are treated to a delicious breakfast at your hotel before accompanying your Egyptology guide on an adventure of a lifetime at the world-famous Luxor tourist attractions. Your adventure starts at the Valley of the Kings, a magical time capsule located inside the holy mountain. This world-famous site is the burial ground for the great pharaohs of the New Kingdom, where 63 tombs of pharaohs such as Ramses the Great, King Amenhotep I, and the world-famous King Tutankhamun are located. These are decorated with hypnotic paintings that are simply beautiful.

The West Bank excavation continues at the breathtaking Queen Hatshepsut Temple, world-famous as Djeser-Djeseru, or "The Holy of Holies." This architectural wonder, constructed in 1479 BC, symbolizes the strength and determination of one of the world's greatest female leaders. Featuring an innovative classical architectural design, the temple's terraces are dotted with incredible statue figures and colorful paintings symbolizing the majesty of the New Kingdom period. Next, you can find yourself in the presence of the Colossi of Memnon, the gigantic brother statues who protected the Theban Necropolis. These 18-meter-tall, 720-tonne quartzite sandstone statues of Amenhotep III were renowned in the Greco-Roman period for the "Vocal Memnon" phenomenon, in which the morning wind created an eerie singing voice emanating from the statue.

Lunch Time Then move to have your lunch on an island, so your tour includes a boat trip in the Nile River followed by a tour to Karnak Temple Complex.

Your last destination in the "World's Largest Open Air Museum" is the Karnak Temple Complex, which is the holiest place ever created by human beings. In ancient times, this place was referred to as "Ipet-Isu" or "The Most Selected of Places." This gigantic religious edifice covers a period of over 4,000 years of ancient history. For over 1,500 years, this complex remained the spiritual center of ancient Egyptian religion, and it was mainly dedicated to the Theban Triad, which included the gods "Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu." As you take a stroll through this forest of massive pillars, you shall view the largest man-made religious edifice in the world, thus concluding your day in "the city of a hundred gates."You will spend your overnight at your hotel in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight: Luxor Hotel

In the morning, after breakfast and check-out from your Luxor hotel, you’ll take a first-class train to Aswan, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Nile Valley on your way. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your private Egyptologist guide for a tour of the top Aswan attractions. Your tour of Aswan attractions begins at The High Dam, which symbolizes Egypt's power in the modern world. The High Dam was erected between 1960 and 1970 during the presidency of Gamal Abdel-Nasser. It was meant to prevent flooding in Egypt, provide hydroelectricity, and create Lake Nasser for the future water needs of Egypt.

The discovery of the secrets behind the Aswan granite cutting skills continues with the Unfinished Obelisk. Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut herself to "pierce the sky" at the entrance to the Temple of Karnak, this 1,200-ton granite obelisk offers an insight into the construction methods employed by the Ancient Egyptians. It measured 42 meters tall, although its carving was abandoned due to the development of a flaw, so that it could remain in its quarry.

Lunch Time You will enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant in Aswan to get ready to complete your day by visiting Philae Temple.

To round off your day, you shall take a ride to the fascinating Philae Temple, which is the essence of myth and magic in Aswan. The temple, named after the goddess Isis, is globally recognized for the reliefs of the Myth of Osiris, which portrays the struggle between good and evil. You shall pass through the very halls where the story of Isis, Osiris, and Horus has been revered for many centuries. Even more fascinating is the fact that this complex was moved to the island of Agilkia by UNESCO in the 1960s to save it from the increasing water levels of the Nile River.

You will then check in at Aswan 5* hotel to spend your overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight: Aswan Hotel

Your final day in Upper Egypt begins early in the morning. After checking out from the hotel, you will be provided with your breakfast boxes and transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the legendary Abu Simbel Temples. Accompanied by your private Egyptologist guide, you will reach the southern frontier of Egypt to witness the ultimate concept of greatness and glory. Created by King Ramses II during the New Kingdom (1279-1213 BCE), these two rock-cut temples were designed to immortalize the King's legacy and serve as the eternal guardians of Egypt's southern border.

Commonly known as the "Temple of Ramesses, beloved by Amun," the site features two massive temples. The Great Temple of Ramses II is a masterpiece of solar alignment, famous for the Sun Festival occurring on February 22nd and October 22nd each year, when the sun's rays penetrate the sanctuary to illuminate the seated statues of Ramses II and the gods Amun, Ra, and Ptah. Standing beside it is the Small Temple, a beautiful tribute dedicated to his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. This entire complex is also famous for the most challenging archaeological rescue operation in history, led by UNESCO in the mid-60s to relocate the temples from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Following this awe-inspiring exploration, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo for your final overnight stay.

Lunch Time Finally, return to Aswan city by A/C vehicle to have your lunch at a local restaurant.

Catch your flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel for spending overnight.
