Your adventure begins at the Giza Pyramids Complex, the globe’s most famous archaeological site and the ultimate consolidation of the majesty of the ancient Egyptian civilization, which has withstood the test of time for over 4,000 years in the Egyptian desert. At the core of the plateau, you will be amazed by the Great Pyramid, the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Constructed by King Khufu in the year 2580 BC, this gigantic monument towered at an altitude of 147m, the highest building in the entire world for an unprecedented period of 3,800 years. Your adventure also includes the exploration of the Great Sphinx, the eternal protector of Egypt, also known as the “Horus of the Horizon.” This mythical statue, with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre, still retains the record of the oldest and largest statue ever created, exemplifying the unparalleled wisdom and power of the Egyptian pharaohs.

Right on your heels, you will visit the Valley Temple, an amazing example of the Old Kingdom period, where the holy Mummification Ritual occurred. This red limestone and granite monument remains one of the finest examples from this period and is one of the best-preserved ancient structures. Your journey will then proceed into the future with the visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), an ultra-modern museum covering 490,000 square meters. Here, you will experience 5,000 years of history, from the Hanging Obelisk and the gigantic colossus of Ramses II to the entire world-famous collection of King Tutankhamun.

Lunch Time Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. Then continue your journey by visiting Saqqara Step Pyramid.

To cap this legendary day, your journey will proceed to the Saqqara Step Pyramid, the groundbreaking masterpiece designed by the brilliant vizier Imhotep himself for Pharaoh Djoser, constructed as far back as 2700 BC.

This distinctive six-step pyramid, reaching 62m high, has a special place in history as the very first large stone monument that marked the start of the golden age of pyramid architecture in Egypt.

At the end of the day, we drive you back to your hotel overnight.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Cairo Hotel

After your breakfast, you will set out to the heart of “The City of Minarets” to visit the most famous attractions, and the first stop will be the historic Egyptian Museum. Founded back in 1901, this museum remains the first of its kind to exist in the city of Cairo, and it was specifically constructed to showcase rare pieces and provide insight into the golden era of ancient Egypt.

Lunch Time Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo then proceed to visit Salah El-Din Citadel.

You will move to the Salah El-Din Citadel, which has been dominating the landscape of Cairo from the top of the Mokattam Mountain since 1182 AD. This historic structure has been the seat of power for more than 700 years and has been a witness to the passage of time and has protected the city from foreign invaders.

Inside the citadel’s walls, you’ll find the breathtaking Mohamed Ali Mosque, famously known as the "Alabaster Mosque" because of the vast use of marble. Built between 1830 and 1848, this Ottoman masterpiece boasts captivating French Rococo touches, red and gold decorations, and a magnificent dome. It’s also home to the famous brass clock, a gift from King Louis Philippe of France. Your journey through culture doesn’t end there. Next, you’ll visit The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), an internationally modernized museum that opened in 2017. At this museum, you’ll get to admire the stunning 50,000 exhibits and the legendary "28 Royal Mummies" that reflect the rich cultural development in Egypt over the last 4,000 years.

As the day melts into the magic of the Islamic Cairo part of the tour, you will walk along Al Muizz Street, which is a golden open-air museum founded in the 10th century as the central street of the Fatimid capital. This treasure trove of culture will take you straight to the world-renowned Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is the oldest and most colorful marketplace in the Middle East. This intoxicating place is nicknamed the “Golden Brick Road,” and this is because this very busy neighborhood has been around since the year 970 AD.

At the end of the day, we will transfer you to the hotel overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Cairo Hotel

After your breakfast, you are going to continue your journey with an intriguing private tour to the great city of Alexandria. Together with your Egyptologist guide, you are going to begin your tour at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa. This spellbinding necropolis, which dates back to the 2nd century AD, represents an extraordinary masterpiece that reflects the beautiful blend of the Greco-Roman and Egyptian cultures of the ancient era. This necropolis has been named as one of the 'Seven Wonders of the Medieval World,' and its three levels depict the extraordinary Pharaonic designs with the addition of the Hellenistic and Roman influences.

The tour proceeds to the top of Pompey’s Pillar, the biggest monolith column erected anywhere in Rome outside of Rome itself. This 28-meter high structure is chiseled out of pure red granite and acquired its name from the legend of the medieval crusader about the Roman General Pompey. Its western side features the existing Greek inscription for Emperor Diocletian. Next, you will visit the magnificent Qaitbay Citadel, this Greco-Roman and Islamic architectural masterpiece erected in 1477 by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay, erected right where the fabled Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood, using the stones from the ancient structure. It is also where the light of the lighthouse lives to this day behind the impenetrable walls of the citadel.

Lunch Time Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Alexandria then proceed to visit Alexandria Library.

To bring your journey in Alexandria to a close, you will visit the globally famous Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina). As one of the world's biggest and most advanced intellectual centers, this trilingual library honors the historic Great Library of Alexandria. This library holds the world's sixth-largest collection of Francophone literature and is also a prominent cultural institution with holdings in Arabic, English, and French languages. Apart from being home to an enormous collection, this library has some of the most beautiful art galleries and book collections found anywhere in the world, making it the ideal place to conclude your journey through this lovely city by the sea. Finally, we will drive you back to your hotel in Cairo for the overnight.
