Begin your 4-day Cairo and Aswan tour with a fantasy breakfast and breathtaking sights before moving to witness the magical Giza Pyramids Complex. This historical wonder on the Giza Plateau contains the three largest pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, constructed from gigantic pieces of white limestone. At the center of the wonder stands the Great Pyramid, an extraordinary work of art constructed by King Khufu in 2570 BC to serve as his "everlasting horizon." It measures 146.6m high, together with three smaller queen pyramids.
The tour proceeds to the Great Sphinx, a magical statue made of limestone, carved by King Khafre, dating back to around 2558–2532 BC. The statue symbolizes a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of the King, who has guarded the plateau for centuries. Next, you will visit the Valley Temple, an emblem of greatness, which King Chefren used for the purification and mummification ritual.
Next, you will discover the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is an innovative building that links with the pyramids and covers an area of 490,000 square meters. The museum acts as an introduction to 5,000 years of history, where you will view the Hanging Obelisk, the Colossus of Ramses II, and the Tutankhamun collection.
