Begin your day with a tasteful breakfast before embarking on your tour with your guide to experience the wonder of the Ancient Egyptian Civilization. Your tour begins at the Pyramids of Giza Complex, the greatest archaeological wonder ever constructed, dating over 4,500 years to the Old Kingdom in 2600 BC. At the center of the Pyramids of Giza Complex rises the Great Pyramid, an astral wonder constructed in 2570 BC as the final resting place for King Khufu. Created by his vizier, Hemiunu, it stood as the tallest structure for over 4,000 years, measuring 146.6m tall, and boasts the intriguing ‘King’s Chamber,’ ‘Queen’s Chamber,’ and ‘Grand Gallery.’

The tour proceeds to the Great Sphinx, also known as the "Horus of the Horizon." This legendary monument has been in existence since the reign of King Khafre, dating back to 2558-2532 BC. Between the paws of the Great Sphinx rests the legendary Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, an inspiration for numerous legendary stories and myths. Next, you will be taken to the Valley Temple, which is a holy and sacred place where Khafre once purified and performed the "Opening of the Mouth" ritual, commonly known as the mummification ritual. The temple is one of the best archaeological sites in Egypt.

The next stop is the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), an impressive building that matches the greatness of the pyramid structures. Covering an area of 490,000 square meters, the GEM is a portal to 5,000 years of ancient history, featuring a world-class conservation center, as well as artifacts that are priceless to mankind, including the Hanging Obelisk, the Colossus of Ramses II, and the fabled 5,000-item collection of King Tutankhamun.

Lunch Time Move to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo and continue your trip by a visit to the Egyptian Museum.
As your Cairo exploration comes to a close, you will visit the iconic Egyptian Museum, which holds the most priceless collections of cultural treasures of human history. After that fascinating day, you will be transferred to the airport to board your plane to Luxor.
Then you'll be taken to Cairo Airport to have your flight to Luxor. After your arrival, you will join your tour guide and have your check-in at your 5*hotel in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Flight: From Cairo to Luxor

Overnight: Luxor Hotel

After a tasty breakfast at your hotel, you will continue your unforgettable Cairo and Luxor experience for four days by discovering the “World’s Greatest Open-Air Museum.” Under the guidance of your private Egyptologist guide, you will immerse yourself in the history of Thebes, and your adventure begins with the legendary Valley of the Kings. Hiding in the “divine lands of the Theban Necropolis,” this place houses the 63 splendid tombs of the pharaohs, queens, and nobles of the New Kingdom between the years of 1570 and 1050 BC. This underground maze provides an intriguing insight into the religion and burial rituals of the ancient Egyptians, with “exceptionally well-preserved wall paintings and texts.”

The next stop is the golden Hatshepsut Temple, which is an exemplary architectural masterpiece and the most captivating symbol of the architectural achievements of the ancient Egyptian civilization. This temple dates to the reign of Queen Hatshepsut between 1479 and 1458 BC and is the "Holy of Holies," which symbolically commemorated the reign of the great queen and the life cycle of the Pharaohs. You will then visit the Colossi of Memnon. These are two gigantic seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which have been protecting the area since 1350 BC. Reaching 18m high, the statues are engraved with the life of the royal family and symbolize the Greek mythological story of King Memnon.

Lunch Time Lunch will be served on an island, so your tour includes a boat trip on the Nile then moving to visit Karnak Temple Complex.

To round out your experience in Luxor, you will visit the holy Karnak Temple Complex, the fortified village of glory and the "Most Selected of Places." Built over a period of 2,000 years (from 1971 BC to 30 AD) in the very heart of ancient Thebes, this giant temple complex was the main place of worship for the entire kingdom in tribute to the Theban Triad: Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. As you stroll through the magnificent Hypostyle Hall and the Avenue of Sphinxes, you will bear witness to the immortal splendor of Egypt's art and architecture. With Deluxe Tours Egypt, your time in Luxor is an unforgettable odyssey through the height of human achievement.

At the end of the day, you will transfer to Luxor airport to catch the flight back to Cairo overnight.
