Start your morning with breakfast before crossing to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, a magical gateway hidden within the Theban necropolis.
This golden valley houses 63 royal tombs belonging to the pharaohs and nobles of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties (1550–1070 BC). You will witness the vivid frescoes and carvings that adorn the walls, echoing the tales of ancient royalty. You will have your lunch at a local restaurant then head with your tour guide to Hatshepsut Temple.
It a three-story architectural masterpiece carved into gigantic rocky cliffs. Dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC), the temple’s terraces and sanctuaries depict her divine birth, rise to power, and legendary achievements through stunning classical reliefs.
The tour concludes at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC). Each 18-meter (60-foot) tall statue depicts the king on his throne and was originally part of his now-vanished mortuary temple. Your guide will share the legend of the "Vocal Memnon," the musical sound once heard at dawn, believed to be the hero greeting his mother, Eos. Following this historical immersion, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Sharm El-Sheikh (via Cairo). Upon arrival at the "City of Peace," you will be escorted to your 5* resort for an all-inclusive overnight stay.
