Next, you will transition to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a colossal billion-dollar establishment spanning 490,000 square meters. Renovated in 2020, this miracle of a museum offers a comprehensive view of Egypt’s cultural evolution and houses the legendary Royal Mummies Hall, where 28 kings and queens are displayed with the utmost reverence. As evening approaches, you will walk through the celestial Al Muizz Street, which illuminates the golden history of Cairo’s Islamic era dating back to the 10th century AD.
