Start the day by enjoying breakfast at your hotel before meeting up with your personal Egyptologist tour guide to visit the top attractions in Cairo. Your time travel adventure begins at the world-famous Giza Pyramids Complex, which has stood the test of time for an astonishing 5,000 years as the oldest and largest archaeological site in the world. This glittering complex is hailed as the world's greatest open-air museum.

In the center of the plateau, you will be facing the Great Pyramid of Khufu, also known as "Khufu’s Horizon," built since 2570 BC. It has attained ultimate recognition as the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At a height of 147m (481 ft) with a mass of six million tons, it was the world’s tallest building for thousands of years. You will be amazed at its grand architectural structure, particularly at the King’s Chamber and Queen’s Chamber.

You will also see the Great Sphinx, a golden warrior statue of a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre, a 73m-long statue of a golden warrior named as the "Horus of the Horizon," carved out of a single limestone rock during the Old Kingdom period, still a mystery until now.

The adventure unfolds at the Valley Temple, which is a very well-preserved site where mummification as well as the Opening of the Mouth rituals took place for kings of the 4th Dynasty. This site is essential to understanding the religious and mythological concepts of this ancient civilization.

Then, you will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is a golden gateway covering 490,000 square meters. Grand Egyptian Museum is a work of art of contemporary architecture, which is home to more than 5,000 years of history, including the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, as well as the entire world-famous collection of King Tutankhamun.

Lunch Time Move to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo and continue your trip by a visit to the Egyptian Museum.

Finally, you will visit the historic Egyptian Museum located in downtown Cairo. This hallowed hall of glory boasts the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts worldwide, showcasing two floors of statues, funerary items, the renowned Narmer Palette, as well as ancient papyri dating over 5,000 years. After finishing your tour, transfer back to the hotel for the overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight: Cairo Hotel

After a pleasant breakfast, you will check-out of your hotel and proceed to Cairo International Airport for your domestic flight to the fascinating city of Aswan. On arrival at Aswan, your personal Egyptologist guide will take you on an enthralling tour of the best of Aswan’s sights, where the best of modern engineering coexists with the best of the ancient world.

Your tour of Aswan will begin at the Aswan High Dam, a brilliant example of modern architectural design built between 1960-1970. This huge dam was jointly designed with the Soviet Union to regulate the Nile floods by creating the world’s largest artificial lake, Lake Nasser.

The next stop is the remarkable Unfinished Obelisk, which was meant to touch the heavens with its golden peak. Commissioned by the illustrious Queen Hatshepsut to be erected at the magnificent entrance of the Karnak Temple, this gargantuan monument would have reached 41.75 meters into the sky. But before its completion, the obelisk developed fissures, so today it lies where it was quarried, still resting on its bedrock. This place is an amazing Open-Air Museum, providing an insight into the highly sophisticated carving techniques of the Egyptians.

Lunch Time You will enjoy your lunch at an outstanding restaurant in Aswan and get ready to visit Temple of Philae.

To wrap up your day, you are scheduled to visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, a work of architectural genius that symbolizes the mythical ‘Osiris Legend.’ Dedicated to the myth of Isis, the goddess of motherhood, and her husband Osiris, the temple also honors their son Horus. Dating back from 380-362 BC, during the Ptolemaic period, the temple symbolizes one of the last and most beautiful architectural wonders of ancient Egypt. It is also worth noting that the whole temple was relocated to Agilkia Island in the 1960s during a historic rescue operation led by UNESCO due to the increasing water levels of the Nile River. You will check in 5* hotel in Aswan to spend your overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Flight: From Cairo to Aswan

Overnight: Aswan Hotel

Early in the morning, you will be brought your breakfast boxes and then transported by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to visit the most important and historic archaeological location in Egypt, which is the “Abu Simbel Temples”. This legendary location, named “the Temple of Ramesses, loved by Amun,” is identified as “the guardian of Egypt’s southern frontiers and a heavenly mark of the immortal life of King Ramses II.” Built in 1264 BC, during “the New Kingdom Period,” this monumental architectural wonder was constructed by King Ramses II, aimed at immortalizing his heritage and identity for all posterity.

The ruins consist of two magnificent temples. The Great Temple of Ramses II is a massive temple renowned for the Sun Festival, which takes place on the 22nd of February and October every year. It is only during this extraordinary occasion that the sun aligns itself in such a way as to shine directly on the face of the four seated statues of Ramses II, Amun, Ptah, and Ra-Horakhty.

The smaller temple is a lovely tribute to his loving wife, Queen Nefertari, and the goddess Hathor. Besides its rich history, Abu Simbel is also renowned for being the center of the most difficult archaeological rescue mission in history in the mid-1960s by UNESCO to save these treasures from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Following this breathtaking adventure, you shall be taken back to Aswan for your return flight to Cairo.

Lunch Time Finally, return back to Aswan to have your lunch.
