The start of your second day begins with a mouth-watering breakfast at your hotel, followed by checking out to meet your private tour guide for an exploration of the marvels of ancient Egypt. Your first destination will be the Giza Pyramids Complex, which dates back over 4,000 years and is considered one of the oldest structures in the world. Here, you will visit the three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
Next, you will visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, known as the “last complete Wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.” Built around 2580 BC, it took 20 years to complete with the help of 100,000 skilled laborers and 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing an average of 2.5 tons. At the time of its construction, it was the tallest man-made structure in the world, remaining so for nearly 3,800 years, with a height of 147 meters.
You will then walk around the Great Sphinx, a monumental statue with the body of a lion and the head of Pharaoh Khafre, symbolizing power and wisdom. Carved from a single giant limestone rock, it measures 73 meters long and 19 meters tall. Afterwards, visit the Valley Temple, the site of ancient mummification rituals, constructed from limestone and granite, and adorned with diorite statues of Khafre.
Your journey continues to the Grand Egyptian Museum, a world-class museum featuring advanced technology and spanning 487,000 square meters. Here, you will admire treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter Colossus of Ramses II, and 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun, while learning about the connection between ancient Egyptian heritage and modern conservation techniques. Following this inspiring morning, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local Cairo restaurant.
The day concludes with a visit to the Egyptian Museum in the heart of Cairo, home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Spanning two floors, the museum showcases over 4,000 years of history, offering a comprehensive insight into Egypt’s glorious past.
Finally, you will drive to Cairo Airport then catch your flight to Luxor then check-in 5* hotel for spending the overnight.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Flight: From Cairo to Luxor
Overnight: Luxor Hotel
On the third day, enjoy breakfast at your hotel before meeting your Egyptologist guide to explore some of Luxor’s most iconic attractions. Begin with the Valley of the Kings, a true “time capsule” situated in the heart of the holy mountains. This site served as the final resting place of Egypt’s greatest kings and queens of the New Kingdom between 1570 and 1070 BC. It contains 63 tombs filled with magical treasures, artifacts, statues, hypnotic decorations, and the mummies of pharaohs such as Rameses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the legendary King Tutankhamun. Due to its immense historical value, the valley was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
Next, visit the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple, often referred to as the “Beauty of Luxor,” also known as Djoser-Djeseru or the Holy of Holies. This temple highlights the power and greatness of one of the most successful rulers in ancient Egyptian history, Queen Hatshepsut. Constructed in 1479 BC over a period of 15 years, the temple represents the classical architectural style of the New Kingdom era and houses some of the most beautiful statues and artifacts in Egypt.
Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, the giant sandstone guardians of Luxor. These two statues, each 18 meters tall and weighing 720 tons, depict Pharaoh Amenhotep III and date back to 1386–1350 BC. Although damaged by a massive earthquake in 27 BC, they were restored in 199 AD during the Greco-Roman period. These statues were also famous for the “Vocal Memnon,” a phenomenon where the morning wind passing between them created a song-like sound.
After this fascinating morning, enjoy a delicious lunch on an island in the Nile River, followed by a relaxing boat ride to visit the Karnak Temple. Known as “Ipet-isu, the Most Selected of Places” and “Pr-Imn, House of Amun,” this temple complex dates back over 4,000 years and served as the religious center of the ancient Egyptian kingdom for more than 1,500 years. It is primarily dedicated to the Theban Triad—God Amun, his spouse Goddess Mut, and their son Khonsu—while also honoring other deities such as Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis. The Karnak Temple stands as a testament to some of the most epic architectural and artistic achievements of ancient Egypt.
After that you will spend your overnight at your hotel in Luxor.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Luxor Hotel
First thing in the morning, enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Luxor, then check out to take the first-class train to Aswan.
Upon arrival in Aswan, you will meet your Egyptologist tour guide and begin your visit with the High Dam, an impressive feat of engineering that demonstrates the city’s power and modern development.
Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an ancient construction commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut. This obelisk was intended to be placed at the entrance of the Karnak Temple and would have stood 42 meters tall, weighing 1,200 tons. However, it cracked during construction and remains at its original site, serving as evidence of the ingenuity of ancient Egyptian engineering.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan before continuing to the Philae Temple, a sanctuary island steeped in myth and legend. Here, you will hear the story of Osiris, murdered by his brother Set and later resurrected to rule the underworld, and of his son Horus defeating Set to restore justice. The temple was moved to Agilkia Island in the 1960s as part of a UNESCO rescue project during the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
At the end of the day, you will check into your 5★ hotel in Aswan, where you can relax and spend the night.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Aswan Hotel
In the morning, you will check out of your hotel and then be transferred, with your breakfast boxes, by a private air-conditioned car and your private tour guide to Abu Simbel.
First, you will visit the two magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, the final frontier and protector of Egypt’s southern border. The temples were built by King Ramses II (1279–1213 BCE) during the New Kingdom period to ensure that his legacy would live for eternity. Abu Simbel stands as a symbol of greatness and glory.
The larger temple, known as the 'Temple of Ramesses, beloved by Amun,' hosts the sun celebration twice a year—on the 22nd of February and the 22nd of October—when the sun’s rays illuminate the faces of the four seated statues of Ramesses II, Ptah, Amun, and Ra. The smaller temple is dedicated to his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. Both temples were relocated in the 1960s as part of UNESCO’s rescue project, considered one of the most challenging archaeological operations in history.
After visiting the temples, you will return to Aswan in your air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Then catch your flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel for spending overnight.
