Overnight: Cairo Hotel

After you enjoy your breakfast, you will meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin your 10-day Egypt adventure by heading to the legendary Giza Pyramids Complex. You will walk among the majestic pyramids built by the kings of Egypt’s 4th Dynasty, feeling the weight of thousands of years of history.

You will be amazed by the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last intact wonder of the ancient world. Constructed around 2570 BC from 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing several tons, it rises to 147 meters (481 ft). Inside, the King’s Chamber, Queen’s Chamber, and the Grand Gallery reveal the incredible architectural genius of ancient Egypt.

Not far from the pyramids, the Great Sphinx stands as a silent guardian. Its lion body and the face of Pharaoh Khafre, spanning 73 meters long, 19 meters wide, and 20 meters high, have watched over the desert for thousands of years. Between its paws, you will see the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, which tells a magical story of prophecy and kingship.

Next, you will walk through the Valley Temple, where the sacred mummification of the pharaohs took place. The temple’s red limestone and granite walls hold statues of Pharaoh Khafre that give you a glimpse into the rituals of ancient Egypt.

Your next stop is the astonishing Grand Egyptian Museum, a massive modern complex aligned with the pyramids. Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters, it houses treasures like the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and more than 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun, offering an unforgettable insight into 5,000 years of Egyptian history.

After marveling at the museum, you will enjoy lunch at a Pyramids/Nile view restaurant, taking in the stunning scenery. Then, you will continue to Saqqara, where the first step pyramid was built by Pharaoh Djoser and designed by the genius architect Imhotep. Its six steps rise to 62 meters, surrounded by a vast complex filled with beautifully preserved ceremonial structures and decorations, giving you a true sense of the dawn of pyramid construction.

Finally, we will drive you back to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.

Overnight: Cairo Hotel

After enjoying your breakfast and checking out from your Cairo hotel, you will be transferred to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, our tour guide will meet you to begin the next chapter of your 10-day Egypt adventure.

You will start by visiting the Aswan High Dam, a modern marvel built between 1960 and 1970 that transformed Egypt’s landscape and economy by controlling the Nile’s floods and generating electricity. Then, you will head to the Unfinished Obelisk, an enormous granite monument that was intended to stand at the entrance of Karnak Temple but was left incomplete, giving you a rare glimpse into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques.

Next, you will explore the magical Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This stunning temple, originally built around 280 BC by Ptolemy II, tells the timeless story of the Myth of Osiris. It was carefully relocated to Agilkia Island during the UNESCO Nubia Campaign in the 1960s and 70s, preserving its incredible beauty for future generations to admire.

As you walk through its grand halls, you will marvel at the intricate carvings that bring to life the ancient Egyptian language, religion, and legendary myths, offering a rare glimpse into the civilization’s enduring legacy.

Overnight: Onboard the Cruise

After enjoying breakfast on the cruise, you will check out and join your Egyptologist tour guide with a private air-conditioned vehicle to explore the wonders of Luxor. Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, a divine necropolis created during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC) to preserve the legacy of pharaohs from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. The valley contains 63 royal tombs, adorned with stunning decorations that tell the stories of great rulers like Tutankhamun, Hatshepsut, Seti I, Ramses II, and many more.

Next, you will visit Hatshepsut Temple, one of the most exquisite and best-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt. Built into the cliffs of Deir El Bahari around 1479 BC over 15 years, the temple rises across three levels connected by wide central ramps, dedicated to Amun and showcasing the elegance, success, and sophistication of Queen Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC).

Nearby, you will see the legendary Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC), originally constructed in 1350 BC. These monumental statues, moved over 700 meters to stand at Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple, became famous during the Greco-Roman period for the “vocal phenomenon” they were said to produce. The surrounding walls are adorned with carvings of Hapi, the Nile god, and his family, adding to the mystical atmosphere.

After a delightful lunch at a top Egyptian restaurant, you will continue to the Karnak Temple Complex, the most sacred site in Luxor for over 1,500 years. Known as Pr-Amun, House of Amun, it was the main worship center of the Theban triad—Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Spanning 247 acres and developed from the Middle Kingdom to the Greco-Roman period (2000–30 BC), the complex features the majestic Avenue of Sphinxes, the awe-inspiring Great Hypostyle Hall, and countless monuments that reflect the grandeur of Ancient Egyptian architecture.
