After breakfast, you will meet your tour guide to explore the magnificent Giza Pyramids, some of the most extraordinary creations of Ancient Egyptian architecture, built by the kings of the 4th Dynasty around 2600 BC to immortalize their legacy.

Your journey begins with the Great Pyramid of Khufu, completed around 2570 BC and standing at approximately 146 meters (481 ft). Known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it remains an architectural marvel with its King’s Chamber, Grand Gallery, and Queen’s Chamber, perfectly aligned with the four cardinal points. For over 3,800 years, it was the tallest man-made structure in the world, a testament to the brilliance of ancient Egyptian engineering.

Next, you will encounter the Great Sphinx, the celestial guardian of the Giza Plateau. This massive statue measures 73 meters (240 ft) long, 19 meters (62 ft) wide, and 20 meters (66 ft) high, combining the body of a lion with the face of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC). The Sphinx has inspired countless myths and continues to amaze visitors with its sheer scale and mysterious presence.

You will then visit the Valley Temple, a sacred mortuary temple where the ancient Egyptians performed rituals such as the “Opening of the Mouth” ceremony as part of the mummification and purification process. Constructed from massive limestone and granite blocks, the temple features remarkable architecture and statues, offering deep insight into the spiritual life of the pharaohs.

For lunch, enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant before continuing to the Grand Egyptian Museum. This monumental museum spans nearly 490,000 square meters and serves as a gateway to more than 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Home to over 100,000 artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun, the museum showcases the Hanging Obelisk, the colossal 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and thousands of pharaonic artifacts, providing an extraordinary glimpse into Egypt’s artistic, cultural, and historical legacy. After the tour you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to take your flight to Sharm El Sheikh

The Saint Catherine Monastery, also known as the Sacred Monastery of the God-Trodden Mount Sinai, is a spiritual treasure established in 565 AD by Byzantine Emperor Justinian I. Named after St. Catherine of Alexandria, a Christian martyr, the site has deep biblical significance, as Mount Sinai is traditionally regarded as the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Within the monastery grounds lies the Chapel of the Burning Bush, believed to mark the spot where Moses encountered the miraculous bush.

The monastery’s architecture reflects its long history, featuring a fortified wall enclosing the Basilica of the Transfiguration, the Chapel of St. Catherine, a library, and several other structures. Inside, you can admire magnificent religious icons, sacred relics, and ancient manuscripts. The library houses a vast collection, including the famous Codex Sinaiticus, one of the oldest surviving copies of the Christian Bible dating back to the 4th century AD, along with a remarkable collection of icons and artifacts.
