Your first stop is the Giza Pyramids, a timeless wonder that has awaited visitors for over 4,000 years. The complex includes three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the majestic Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, often called the House of Immortality.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu is a true marvel of ancient engineering and the last intact structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Built around 2580 BC, it took 20 years, 2,300,000 limestone blocks weighing 2.5 tons each, and a workforce of 100,000 skilled workers to complete. Standing at 147 meters (481 ft) tall, it was the tallest man-made structure for 3,800 years. Its complex interior continues to amaze visitors today.
Next, you will see the Sphinx, a legendary statue with the body of a lion and the head of a man, believed to be King Khafre, symbolizing power and wisdom. Measuring 73 meters (240 ft) long and 20 meters (66 ft) high, it was carved from a single limestone rock in just three years by around 100 skilled workers. Its origins and age remain shrouded in mystery, inspiring countless artists and poets over the centuries.
The Valley Temple is where the ancient Egyptians performed the mummification process to achieve immortality. Built during Egypt’s Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC), it is one of the best-preserved sites of its kind. Constructed entirely from limestone and granite, it houses magnificent diorite statues of King Khafre and provides incredible insight into ancient Egyptian burial practices.
Afterward, you will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a monumental gateway to 5,000 years of Egyptian history, showcasing an extraordinary collection of artifacts. Spanning 490,000 square meters, GEM includes one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, research labs, and educational facilities. Highlights include the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and the complete collection of over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun.
For lunch, you will enjoy a delicious meal at a Pyramids Nile View restaurant, before continuing to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Founded in 1901, the museum houses an incredible collection of artifacts that illuminate the history and culture of ancient Egypt, making it a must-see for anyone exploring this golden city.
After the tour you will transfer to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Aswan.
Upon arrival to Aswan Airport you will meet and transferred to your 5 Star Nile Cruise to check in and spend the Overnight at Aswan Water

On day three, your morning begins in Aswan with breakfast on board the Nile cruise. Afterward, your Egyptologist tour guide will take you to explore some of the city’s most remarkable attractions.
Your first stop is the High Dam, the modern marvel of Aswan, constructed between 1960 and 1970 in collaboration with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute. The dam was built to control the Nile’s flooding, generate hydroelectric power, and provide a large reservoir for irrigation, forming the famous Lake Nasser.
Next, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). Known in ancient times as “Tekhenu”, meaning “to pierce the sky,” this massive obelisk was intended to stand at the entrance of Karnak Temple. It reaches a height of 42 meters and weighs 1,200 tons, but unfortunately, it cracked during construction and remains in its original location today. This site provides a fascinating insight into how the ancient Egyptians carved and transported these colossal monuments.
Your tour continues at the Philae Temple, the jewel of Aswan and a central site of ancient Egyptian mythology. The temple’s walls depict the Myth of Osiris, where Osiris, the husband of Isis, is murdered by his brother Set, the god of chaos. Osiris is later resurrected to rule the underworld, and Horus, the sky god and son of Osiris and Isis, defeats Set, bringing peace, prosperity, and justice to the land. In the 1960s, as part of a UNESCO-led rescue project during the construction of the Aswan High Dam, the temple was carefully relocated to the nearby island of Agilkia, where it stands beautifully today.
After that you will spend your overnight on board.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Onboard the Cruise
After enjoying your breakfast, you will visit Kom Ombo Temple, also known as “The Hill of Gold.” This remarkable temple was built during the Greco-Roman period (205–180 BC) and is famous for its unique double design. The structure is divided into two identical sections: one dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and the other to Horus, the falcon sky god, reflecting the duality of power and protection in ancient Egyptian belief.
Next, you will head to Edfu Temple, one of the last temples constructed in Ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic era (237–57 BC). Dedicated to the sky falcon god Horus, it is believed to have been built on the site of the legendary battle between Set and Horus, according to the Osiris Myth. The temple was rediscovered in 1860 by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette. Its architecture and interior are a stunning blend of Greek and Egyptian styles, showcasing the grandeur and craftsmanship of the Ptolemaic period.
You will continue sailing until you reach the city of Luxor, arrive at night, and spend the overnight on board.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Onboard the Cruise
After breakfast, you will check out from your 5 Star Nile Cruise and be accompanied by your private tour guide and air-conditioned vehicle to explore some of Luxor’s most spectacular attractions.
Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, a stairway to heaven and the final resting place of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs from the New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC). Here, you will discover 63 tombs filled with treasures, artifacts, statues, and intricate decorations. Some of the most famous tombs belong to Ramses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the boy-king Tutankhamun. UNESCO recognized the valley as a World Heritage Site in 1979, honoring its historical and artistic significance.
Next, you will visit Hatshepsut Temple, also known as Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies). This remarkable temple showcases the grandeur of the New Kingdom and the vision of one of Egypt’s most powerful rulers, Queen Hatshepsut. Built in 1479 BC over 15 years, the temple features three levels connected by two wide central ramps, adorned with majestic statues, artifacts, and monuments. Its classical architectural design remains a symbol of elegance and authority.
After a delicious lunch at a top Luxor restaurant, your tour continues to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive quartzite sandstone statues standing 18 m (60 ft) tall and weighing 720 tons each, representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC). Though damaged by an earthquake in 27 BC, they were rebuilt in 199 AD. During the Greco-Roman period, the statues were famous for the Vocal Memnon, a mysterious “singing” sound produced by the wind at dawn.
Your final stop of the day is the Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious structures ever built and a central hub of worship in Ancient Egypt. Known as Ipet-isu (“The Most Selected of Places”) and Pr-Imn (House of Amun), this holy complex spans over 4,000 years of history. It was dedicated mainly to the Theban Triad: Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, while also honoring gods like Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.
