You will start your morning with a delicious breakfast before heading out with your private tour guide to explore some of the most incredible sites in Egypt.
You will begin at the Giza Pyramids Complex, a place where the glory of ancient Egyptian civilization has stood for over 4,000 years. Here, you will see the three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the majestic Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
Next, you will marvel at The Great Pyramid of Khufu, a true wonder and the last intact structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Constructed around 2580 BC over 20 years with 2,300,000 limestone blocks and the labor of 100,000 skilled workers, it rises 147 meters (481 ft) high. Its sheer size and intricate chambers are still breathtaking today.
You will then approach the Great Sphinx, also called Hor-em-Akhet (“Horus of the Horizon”), standing as the eternal guardian of the pyramids. With the body of a lion and the head of Pharaoh Khafre, it symbolizes power, wisdom, and protection. The statue measures 73 meters (240 ft) long and 19 meters (66 ft) wide, carved from a single limestone rock.
Next, you will explore the Valley Temple, built during Egypt’s Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). This temple was central to the mummification process and is one of the best-preserved structures of ancient Egypt. It is made of limestone and granite and houses magnificent diorite statues of King Khafre.
After that, you will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, aligned with the Giza pyramids and spanning nearly 490,000 square meters. Here, you will see over 5,000 artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun, the Hanging Obelisk, and the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II. GEM also houses one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, offering a deep dive into Egypt’s 5,000-year-old history through its stunning architecture and exhibitions.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant overlooking the pyramids or the Nile. Afterward, you will continue to the Saqqara Step Pyramid, the first of its kind, designed by Imhotep, vizier to Pharaoh Djoser. Rising 62 meters with six steps, it is surrounded by ceremonial structures and marks the beginning of the golden age of pyramid construction.
This day will leave you in awe of the majestic wonders and timeless beauty of ancient Egypt.
After that, you catch your flight to Luxor and check-in 5* hotel for overnight.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Flight: From Cairo to Luxor
Overnight: Luxor Hotel
You will start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel, then join your private tour guide and board your air-conditioned vehicle to continue your Cairo, Luxor, and Hurghada adventure.
Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, a stairway to the heavens and the final resting place for the greatest kings and queens of Egypt’s New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC). The valley contains 63 tombs filled with remarkable artifacts, treasures, statues, and intricate decorations. You will see the tombs of pharaohs like Ramses II, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the famous boy-king Tutankhamen, the most visited tomb after Ramses the Great. In 1979, UNESCO recognized the Valley of the Kings as a World Heritage Site due to its historical and artistic significance.
Next, you will visit Hatshepsut Temple, also called Djoser-Djeseru (“Holy of Holies”). This magnificent structure, built in 1479 BC, symbolizes power, elegance, and the legacy of one of Egypt’s most successful rulers, Queen Hatshepsut. The temple was dedicated to the creator god Amun and is a masterpiece of Classical New Kingdom architecture, featuring three terraced levels joined by ramps and adorned with statues and reliefs celebrating the queen’s reign.
You will then see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive quartzite sandstone statues standing 18 meters (60 ft) tall and weighing 720 tons each, representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC). Although an earthquake in 27 BC damaged them, they were reconstructed in 199 AD. During the Greco-Roman period, these statues became famous for the “Vocal Memnon” phenomenon, where one of the statues was said to produce a singing sound at dawn.
Lunch will be served at a Nile view restaurant, allowing you to relax while taking in the timeless beauty of the river.
After lunch, you will visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious temple complex in the world. Known as Ipet-isu (“The Most Selected of Places”) and Pr-Imn House of Amon, this holy site was constructed over 4,000 years ago and served as the worship center for the Theban triad—Amun, Mut, and Khonsu—alongside other deities like Osiris, Ptah, and Isis. For over 1,500 years, Karnak stood as one of the greatest man-made religious complexes on earth, where prayers were offered, wishes made, and ancient Egyptian devotion immortalized.
