Start the day by visiting the legendary Giza Pyramids Complex built more than 4,500 years ago during the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). These magnificent pyramids were built to point the way to Heaven and demonstrate the ingenuity of the ancient Egyptians.

Admire the Great Pyramid built in 2570 BC by Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC) and created by the brilliant Egyptian architect Hemiunu. The Great Pyramid has been the tallest structure in the world for more than 3,800 years and has remained the only surviving ancient wonder of the world. Originally, the Great Pyramid stood at a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft).

Then, visit the Great Sphinx, also known as Hor–Em–Akhet (“Horus of the Horizon”), built in the golden image of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC). This magnificent statue of a lion with the head of a Pharaoh shines with the essence of wisdom, power, and eternity that guards the entire Giza Plateau.

You will then have the opportunity to visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, a well-preserved mortuary complex that was utilized for mummification rites and the sacred ‘Opening of the Mouth’ ceremony for the pharaohs, queens, and members of the royal family from the 4th dynasty.

Next, it’s on to the Grand Egyptian Museum, a cultural phenomenon that boasts an architectural style similar to the Pyramids and offers breathtaking views of the Pyramids from its upper floor. Inside, the museum houses a collection of artifacts that tell the story of the history of ancient Egypt, from the Hanging Obelisk and the massive statue of Ramses II to the largest collection of Tutankhamun’s treasures ever assembled.

Have your lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

After lunch, your guide will take you to the Saqqara Step Pyramid, built by the legendary architect Imhotep. This six-tiered pyramid stood at a height of 62 meters and marked the beginning of the pyramid-building era in Egypt.

Next, it’s on to the Bent Pyramid of Pharaoh Sneferu (2575-2551 BC), one of the first Egyptian pyramids ever built, and the Red Pyramid built from red limestone between 2613-2589 BC and thus acquired its distinctive color.

You will be returned to your 5-star hotel in Cairo to rest after an extraordinary day of exploration.

Firstly, after having a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your private tour guide will take you to the UNESCO Natural World Heritage site of Wadi El Hitan, also known as the “Valley of the Whales.”

After that, you will be amazed by the hundreds of fossils of Archaeoceti, an extinct sub-order of whales that date back millions of years. These incredible fossils show the natural evolution of life and can be found scattered all over the desert area, located about 150 km southwest of Cairo in the Faiyum district.

After that, hop into a 4x4 and enjoy an adventurous ride over the sandy dunes. Feel the thrill of moving up and down the golden hills of the desert.

Next, enjoy some exhilarating sandboarding on the desert hills and then a camel ride that will take you across the serene Sahara Desert landscapes. Enjoy the endless desert views that stretch like a heavenly illustration in front of your eyes.

After that, reach a charming Bedouin camp and enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch with tea and the warm hospitality of the Bedouins.

After a day full of adventure and exploration, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo and spend the night at your 5-star hotel.

Then, you will visit the Hanging Church, one of the oldest Coptic churches in Egypt, built in the 3rd century AD. This architectural masterpiece is suspended above the gatehouse of the Babylon Fortress.

Next, you will stroll down Al Muizz Street, a street that looks like it was plucked from an ancient storybook, built during the Fatimid dynasty in 969 AD. This is a historic street lined with a fantastic array of medieval Islamic art and architecture.

Then, visit the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, built between 1382 and 1389 AD. This enchanting marketplace is a haven for treasures, ranging from intricate handicrafts to traditional spices, textiles, and souvenirs. 

Take a delightful lunch at a local Cairo restaurant. This will provide you with much-needed energy for an afternoon filled with spectacular sights. After lunch, continue your adventure in culture. 

Firstly, you will have a chance to visit Sultan Hassan Madrassa-Mosque, a magnificent Mamluk architectural masterpiece built between 1356–1363 AD. This magnificent mosque is one of the most beautiful Islamic monuments in the Arab world. 

Then, visit Al Rifai Mosque, built in 1869 AD for the royal family. This mosque is located beside Sultan Hassan Mosque. It represents exquisite royal architecture. 

After that, visit Baron Empain Palace, a unique masterpiece resembling a Hindu temple, built between 1907–1911 in the lively district of Heliopolis. 

Also, visit Nilometer on Rhoda Island, an extraordinary monument built in 861 AD. This monument was originally used to measure the Nile’s annual flood levels—a hidden gem of the golden city. 

Once you’ve wrapped up your day full of history, culture, and stunning sights, you’ll head back to your 5-star hotel in Cairo to chill and rest.
