6 Days Magical Family Journey Through Egypt

First, the family will have breakfast at their hotel to start the day.

Next, they will head with their tour guide to the Great Pyramids, a golden plateau filled with magical stories and ancient constructions dating back over 4,500 years.

They will begin with the Great Pyramid of Khufu, a masterpiece of perfection and endurance built around 2600 BC to house the royal mummy of King Khufu. This iconic pyramid is one of the tallest and heaviest monuments on earth and contains remarkable internal chambers.

Then, the family will see the Great Sphinx of Giza, created between 2558–2532 BC. This limestone statue combines the face of Pharaoh Khafre with the body of a lion, symbolizing strength, wisdom, and guardianship of the Giza complex.

Afterward, they will visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, a preserved temple used for the royal mummification rituals, including the “opening of the mouth” ceremony during the Old Kingdom of the 4th dynasty.

Next, the family will explore the Grand Egyptian Museum, spanning nearly 490,000 square meters and aligned with the pyramids. GEM houses one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, research labs, and educational facilities. Here, the family will marvel at treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter Colossus of Ramses II, and the full collection of over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun.

For lunch, the family will enjoy a meal at a local restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum, established in 1901 in the heart of Cairo. The museum showcases thousands of artifacts spanning over 5,000 years of ancient Egyptian history.

Finally, in the evening, the family will be transferred to Cairo airport to catch their flight to Aswan, where they will check in to their 5★ hotel for the overnight stay.

Next, they will travel with their tour guide to visit the  Abu Simbel Temples, masterpieces built by Ramses II (1303–1213 BC). These temples commemorate the Battle of Kadesh, the signing of the first recorded peace treaty, honor the gods Amun, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah, and pay tribute to Ramses II’s beloved wife Nefertari.

For lunch, the family will enjoy a meal at a local restaurant in Aswan.

Finally, they will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to the train station to travel to Luxor, where they will check in at a 5★ hotel and spend the overnight.

First, the entire family will have breakfast at their hotel before joining their tour guide to explore the wonders of Luxor.

Next, they will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, a majestic temple built in the 15th century BC to honor Amun and celebrate the achievements of Queen Hatshepsut. This temple showcases the brilliance of classical New Kingdom architecture.

Then, the family will explore the Valley of the Kings, the eternal resting place for the greatest rulers of the New Kingdom. With 63 tombs, including those of Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses, the valley is filled with captivating decorations and priceless treasures.

Afterward, they will see the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1350 BC) that have stood the test of time and celebrate one of the most accomplished rulers of the New Kingdom.

For lunch, the family will enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant before continuing to the Karnak Temples, a divine complex developed over 500 years from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic era. The site honors Amun, Khonsu, and Mut and features the Great Hypostyle Hall, inner temples, and the avenue of Sphinxes, adorned with incredible architecture and art.

Finally, the family will be transferred to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo, where they will be taken by private A/C vehicle to their 5★ hotel for the overnight stay.

The entire family will begin their day with breakfast at their hotel, then travel by private A/C vehicle with their tour guide to the enchanting city of Alexandria.

They will first visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a remarkable Greco-Roman family cemetery from the 2nd century BC, spread over three floors and decorated with exquisite artistic elements.

Next, the family will see Pompey's Pillar, a Roman triumphal column dating back to 300 AD, standing 27 meters high and symbolizing the grandeur of ancient Alexandria.

They will also explore the Alexandria Library, opened in 2002 as a modern center of knowledge. The library features inner museums, art galleries, and one of the largest collections of rare books in the world.

For lunch, the family will enjoy a meal at a scenic sea-view restaurant before visiting the Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century Islamic fortress built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, showcasing outstanding architecture and artistic design.

Finally, the family will return to their hotel in Cairo to spend the overnight stay.
