Itineraries

At the moment of arrival in Luxor, the family will be welcomed by their tour guide who will lead them to explore the wonders of the East Luxor Bank. The first stop will be the magnificent Karnak Temple, the largest and oldest open-air religious museum in the world, built and expanded over 1,500 years from the Middle Kingdom (2000–1700 BCE) to the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305–30 BCE), spanning 247 acres. Here, the family will marvel at the Great Hypostyle Hall, the precincts of Amun-Re and Mut, and many other extraordinary historic structures that showcase the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization.

After visiting Karnak, the family will transfer to their luxurious 5-star Nile Cruise in Luxor to check in and enjoy a delicious lunch on board, followed by some relaxation. In the evening, they will continue the adventure with a visit to Luxor Temple by Night, built in 1400 BC to host religious festivals and coronation ceremonies for Pharaohs like Ramses the Great and Amenhotep III. The temple symbolizes the power of ancient Egyptian royalty, and during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), the Opet Festival was celebrated here to rejuvenate kingship and honor Amun-Re. The majestic Great Avenue of Sphinxes connects Luxor Temple to the Karnak Temple Complex, completing the magical evening experience.

The family will then return to their Nile Cruise in Luxor for dinner and spend a comfortable overnight onboard.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, the whole family will set out with their private tour guide to explore the legendary Valley of the Kings. For over 500 years during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), this hidden treasure nestled in the heart of a symbolic hill served as the final resting place for some of the most famous and innovative kings and queens of ancient Egypt, including Tutankhamun, Seti I, and members of the entire Ramses Dynasty, among many others. The valley holds 63 golden tombs, each revealing incredible treasures, decorations, and artifacts that tell the fascinating stories of ancient Egyptian royalty.

Next, the family will visit the magnificent Queen Hatshepsut Temple, a holy sanctuary carved into the Deir el-Bahari cliffs in the 15th century BC. This architectural masterpiece is built on three levels and was used to host the Valley Festival in honor of Amun, alongside shrines dedicated to Hathor, Anubis, and Amun, making it a true work of art and spirituality.

The tour continues with the awe-inspiring Colossi of Memnon, the two grand statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, moved from Cairo to Luxor to immortalize his legacy and celebrate his achievements and family history.

After this remarkable day of exploration, the family will return to their Nile Cruise to enjoy lunch and dinner onboard, and spend a restful overnight surrounded by the serene waters of the Nile.

After enjoying breakfast on board the Nile Cruise, the whole family will set out with their private tour guide to explore the legendary Edfu Temple. Dedicated to Horus, the sky falcon god and patron of divine protection and victory, this temple is one of the most highly preserved monuments in Upper Egypt. Built during the Ptolemaic era between 237 BC and 57 BC, it serves as an enchanting storybook of ancient Egyptian art, religion, and culture.

The journey continues to the rare and remarkable Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double temple dedicated to Horus the Elder and the crocodile god Sobek of the Nile. Located directly on the riverbank, Kom Ombo stands as one of the last ancient Egyptian temples built during the Ptolemaic age between 180 BC and 47 BC, showcasing the extraordinary skill and artistry of the era.

After visiting these awe-inspiring temples, the family will return to their Nile Cruise to enjoy lunch and dinner on board, and spend a restful overnight surrounded by the tranquil waters of the Nile.

Next, the family will witness the Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut(1508–1458 BC), an extraordinary feat of ancient Egyptian craftsmanship carved directly from the rocks of Aswan. Intended to stand at the entrance of Karnak Temple at a height of 42 meters and weighing 1,200 tons, it remains a testament to the ingenuity and skill of ancient stone masons.

Afterward, the family will enjoy lunch before proceeding to the magical Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood. Built in the 7th century BC during the Ptolemaic era, this temple illuminates the rich religious history and fascinating stories of ancient Egypt, offering a serene and inspiring experience for the whole family.
