After having your breakfast at the hotel, first, we will check out and join your private Egyptologist tour guide to start your Cairo and Nile vacation.
First, we will visit the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At the majestic Giza Pyramids, you will witness the greatness of Egypt’s 4th Dynasty, which achieved immortality and displayed the divinity of the royal families.
Next, we will see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, an extraordinary architectural masterpiece designed by Pharaoh Khufu’s chief architect, Hemiunu (2609–2584 BC). This pyramid served as a final resting place that symbolically reached the heavens. Around 400,000 dedicated workers used 2.3 million limestone blocks, weighing a total of 6 million tons, to build it. Completed in 2570 BC, it reached 138.5 meters (454.4 ft) and remained the tallest structure in the world for nearly 3,800 years.
Then, we will visit the Great Sphinx of Khafre, a magical and immortal sculpture created in the golden image of King Khafre (2558–2532 BC) on the body of a lion. The Sphinx measures 73 meters (240 ft) in length, 20 meters (66 ft) in height, and 19 meters (62 ft) in width. It also houses the famous Dream Stele of King Thutmose IV (1401–1391 BC), which tells an epic tale of ancient Egypt.
After that, we will explore the Valley Temple, an immortal masterpiece where sacred rituals were performed, including the Opening of the Mouth Ceremony, which ensured the immortality of the pharaohs of the 4th Dynasty.
Next, we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a billion-dollar hub of majestic archaeological treasures, aligned with the Pyramids of Giza. Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters, GEM serves as a gateway to 5,000 years of history, connecting ancient Egypt with modern innovation. Here, you will marvel at the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and the complete collection of over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun. GEM also houses one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, along with research labs and educational facilities dedicated to preserving Egypt’s heritage.
Then, we will have lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Pyramids or the Nile, enjoying traditional Egyptian cuisine with a breathtaking view.
Next, we will continue to visit The Egyptian Museum in downtown Cairo, established in 1901. This enchanting museum displays Egypt’s most incredible archaeological treasures, offering a magical journey through history.
