Itineraries

Upon arrival in Aswan, you will board your Nile cruise before lunchtime and settle comfortably into your cabin, ready to begin your relaxing journey along the Nile.

In the afternoon, you will head out with your guide to explore some of Aswan’s most famous landmarks.

Your tour will start with a visit to the High Dam, one of Egypt’s greatest modern engineering achievements. Constructed in the 1960s, the dam controls the flow of the Nile and led to the creation of Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world.

Next, you will enjoy a short boat ride to reach the beautiful Philae Temple, located on Agilkia Island. This charming temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is admired for its stunning setting, impressive carvings, and fascinating history.

After that, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries. Here, you will see the largest obelisk ever carved, still lying in its original place, offering a remarkable insight into the stone-cutting techniques of ancient Egypt.

At the end of the tour, you will return to your cruise ship to enjoy dinner on board and spend a peaceful night in Aswan.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

In the early morning, the cruise will sail toward Kom Ombo while you enjoy the peaceful scenery of the Nile.

After arrival, you will visit the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility, and Horus the Elder. The temple’s symmetrical layout, grand columns, and the fascinating carvings of ancient surgical instruments highlight its religious and medical importance. You will also have the chance to visit the nearby Crocodile Museum, where real mummified crocodiles are displayed.

Following the tour, you will return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Edfu while enjoying lunch on board.

In the afternoon, you will explore the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. You will reach the temple by a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride, adding a charming local touch to the experience. The temple is dedicated to Horus, the falcon god, and is famous for its massive entrance pylon and the detailed reliefs showing the legendary battle between Horus and Seth. You will also step inside the Holy of Holies, where sacred rituals once took place.

After the visit, you will return to the cruise ship and sail onward to Luxor. In the evening, enjoy dinner on board and spend the night cruising.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, you will begin your exploration of Luxor’s West Bank, home to some of the most extraordinary monuments of ancient Thebes.

Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs. Here, great rulers such as Ramses II and Tutankhamun were laid to rest. You will enter three beautifully decorated tombs, where vivid wall paintings illustrate the pharaoh’s journey into the afterlife. There is also the opportunity to visit the tomb of Tutankhamun for an additional ticket.

Next, you will visit the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This magnificent temple, built into the cliffs, stands as a tribute to one of Egypt’s most powerful and successful queens. Its unique terraced design and detailed reliefs, including scenes of her divine birth and famous trade missions, make it a true architectural wonder.

You will then stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood proudly for more than 3,000 years, marking the entrance to his once-grand mortuary temple.

After completing your morning tour, you will return to the cruise ship for lunch. The afternoon will be at leisure to relax on board. In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night on board in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Enjoy your final breakfast on board before checking out from the cruise ship.

After disembarkation, you will begin your morning tour on the East Bank of Luxor. Your first visit will be to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious complex ever constructed in ancient Egypt. As you walk through the impressive Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes, you will discover massive statues, towering obelisks, and the extraordinary Hypostyle Hall, famous for its vast forest of gigantic columns beautifully decorated with detailed carvings.

Next, you will explore Luxor Temple, originally built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II. This temple once served as an important center for religious ceremonies and festivals. It is connected to Karnak by the famous Sphinx Avenue, and its magical atmosphere—especially when illuminated at night—makes it one of the most captivating sites in Luxor.

After completing your morning tour, a private transfer will take you to Luxor Airport for your onward journey.
