Upon arrival in Abu Simbel, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your Lake Nasser cruise for embarkation and check-in at 13:00. After settling on board, enjoy lunch while taking in the peaceful views of the lake.
In the afternoon, begin your journey with a visit to the world-famous Abu Simbel Temples, one of the most iconic archaeological sites in Egypt. Carved into the mountainside by Pharaoh Ramesses II, these colossal temples were designed to immortalize his legacy and demonstrate the power of ancient Egypt. In the 1960s, the temples were carefully dismantled and relocated to their current location in a massive UNESCO rescue operation, preserving them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser after the construction of the High Dam.
After the visit, return to the cruise and enjoy afternoon tea on board with time to relax and admire the surrounding desert scenery. Dinner will be served on board, followed by an overnight stay.

Optional Evening Activity: Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel
In the evening, you may attend the Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel Temple, a captivating experience that brings the ancient world to life through music, narration, and illuminated projections. The show recreates the original appearance and glory of the temples, offering a memorable historical journey.
Breakfast is served on board as the cruise begins sailing early towards Kasr Ibrim. From the sun deck, you will view the ancient citadel of Kasr Ibrim, once a powerful city perched high above the Nile. Today, it stands as a solitary archaeological site overlooking Lake Nasser.
Return to the cruise for lunch, then continue your exploration with a guided visit to the Amada Temple, one of the oldest surviving temples in Nubia. Originally built by Pharaoh Thutmose III, it was later expanded by successive rulers, reflecting centuries of architectural evolution.
Next, visit the Temple of Derr, a rare rock-cut structure built by Ramesses II, known for its unique location and remarkable preservation.
The final visit of the day is the Tomb of Pennut, a rare rock-cut burial site of a Viceroy of Kush. This tomb was relocated during the salvage campaign of the 1960s to protect it from flooding caused by the High Dam.
After the visits, return to the cruise for a cocktail reception followed by a traditional Nubian show on board, featuring music and cultural performances.

After breakfast on board, begin your excursion to Wadi El Seboua, meaning “Valley of the Lions.” The site is famous for its sphinx-lined avenue leading to temples built during the reign of Ramesses II and Amenhotep III.
This vast archaeological complex includes multiple temples and structures, surrounded by the dramatic silence of the desert, creating a powerful and immersive historical atmosphere.
Return to the cruise for lunch, then continue sailing towards Aswan as the landscape gradually transforms from remote desert shores to the cultural heart of Upper Egypt.
Dinner will be served on board during the voyage to Aswan, followed by an overnight stay.

Breakfast is served on board before disembarkation. Later, join your Egyptologist guide for a visit to the Kalabsha Temple, one of the most impressive Nubian monuments overlooking the High Dam.
Originally built during the late Ptolemaic period and completed under Roman Emperor Augustus, the temple showcases a fascinating blend of Egyptian and Roman architectural styles. It is dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis and features intricate carvings depicting imperial and divine figures.
After the visit, you will check out from the cruise and be transferred to your hotel in Aswan.

We are offering the minimum down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel services. The remaining balance can be paid up to four days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your Representative.
In case you cancel your trip, the following of charges will be applied: From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 7% of the tour package price will be charged. Between 60 and 21 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour Package price will be charged. Between 20 and 7 days before your arrival date, 40% of the package tour price will be charged. Between 6 and 1 days before your arrival date, 75% of the tour package price will be applied.
