Itineraries

Your journey begins in Abu Simbel, where our representative will meet you at your hotel or the airport and transfer you to your Lake Nasser cruise for embarkation and check-in at 13:00.

After settling in, enjoy lunch on board while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the lake.

In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, one of the most iconic landmarks of ancient Egypt. Carved into the mountainside by Pharaoh Ramesses II, these temples stand as a powerful symbol of royal authority and architectural brilliance.

Originally located closer to the Nile, the temples were relocated in the 1960s as part of a massive international effort to protect them from flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam.

After returning to the cruise, enjoy afternoon tea on board and some time to relax. Dinner will be served on board, followed by an overnight stay.

Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner

Optional Evening Activity: Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel
In the evening, you may attend the Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel, where the story of the pharaohs is brought to life through dramatic narration, music, and visual projections onto the temple walls.

After breakfast, the cruise sails early towards Kasr Ibrim. From the sun deck, you will enjoy a panoramic view of this ancient citadel, once a powerful city overlooking the Nile and now appearing as an island due to the creation of Lake Nasser.

Following lunch on board, continue your guided exploration with a visit to the Temple of Amada, the oldest surviving temple in Nubia. Built during the reign of Thutmose III and later expanded by Amenhotep II and Thutmose IV, it reflects the architectural development of the New Kingdom.

Next, visit the Temple of Derr, a remarkable rock-cut structure built by Ramesses II, known for its unique design and historical significance.

Conclude the day with a visit to the Tomb of Pennut, a rare rock-cut tomb belonging to a Viceroy of Kush. Like many Nubian monuments, it was carefully relocated to preserve it from flooding.

Return to the cruise for a relaxing evening featuring a cocktail reception followed by a traditional Nubian show on board.

After the visit, return to the cruise for lunch while sailing towards Aswan.
