12 Day Luxury Egypt Experience: Pyramids, Nile & Beyond

After breakfast, you will join your private Egyptologist tour guide to start your exploration of your 12-day Egypt Luxury Vacation at one of the 7 Wonders of the World: the Giza Pyramids Complex.

First, you will visit the Great Pyramid, designed by Hemiunu, the chief architect of Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC), to be his tomb. Completed in 2570 BC, it stands at 138.5 meters (454.4 ft) tall and features a highly advanced interior design.

Next, you will marvel at the Great Sphinx of Giza, crafted in the royal image of King Chephren (2558–2532 BC). This majestic statue, with the face of the king atop a lion’s body, symbolizes immense wisdom and strength. Don’t miss the magical Dream Stele placed between the Sphinx’s paws by King Thutmose IV.

Then, explore the Valley Temple, a remarkable site where ancient Egyptian royalty practiced mummification rituals, including the famous Opening of the Mouth ceremony.

Afterward, your tour continues at the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a billion-dollar hub of priceless archaeological treasures aligned with the Giza Pyramids. Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters, GEM bridges ancient Egypt with modern innovation through advanced architecture and immersive storytelling. Here, you can marvel at treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun.

After lunch, you will complete your day in Cairo with a visit to the Saqqara Step Pyramid, the divine six-step pyramid created by the immortal Imhotep for King Djoser (2670–2650 BC). This architectural masterpiece set the stage for pyramid construction during the Old Kingdom.

Finally, we will drive you back to your hotel for the overnight.

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Cairo and join your private tour guide to continue your luxury adventure in the city by visiting its top attractions.

First, you will visit The Egyptian Museum, established in 1901 in downtown Cairo, showcasing the greatness of the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo before continuing your tour.

After lunch, your guide will take you to the legendary Salah El Din Citadel, built between 1176–1183 AD on the highest point in Cairo. This historic fortress served as the center of government for 700 years and houses numerous museums, art galleries, and mosques.

Next, visit the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, constructed between 1830–1848 AD. This masterpiece of Ottoman architecture is famous for its tall silhouette and twin minarets.

Then, explore the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in the ancient city of Fustat, which displays 50,000 artifacts spanning Egypt’s history. Don’t miss the marvelous hall of mummies, featuring 28 royal kings and queens.

Afterward, stroll along Al Muizz Street, created during the Fatimid period in the 10th century. This street now serves as an open-air museum, reflecting the golden era of Islamic Cairo through its artistic architecture, cafes, houses, and museums.

Finally, end your day with a visit to the exquisite Khan El Khalili Bazaar, constructed between 1382–1389 AD in the Mamluk era. Explore this vibrant marketplace filled with magnificent objects and souvenirs that reflect Egypt’s rich culture and golden history.

At the end of the day, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo to spend overnight.

In the morning, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then check out and get ready for your flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival, you will meet your private Egyptologist tour guide to continue your luxury holiday by visiting the most beautiful attractions in Aswan.

First, you will visit the Aswan High Dam, built in the 1960s and 1970s to control the annual floodwaters of Lake Nasser and produce electricity, marking Egypt’s entry into the modern industrial age.

Next, explore the Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). Originally intended to pierce the skies, it was damaged during carving and now serves as an open-air museum, showcasing the eternal brilliance of ancient Egyptian artists and builders.

Then, visit the magical Philae Temple, built between 380–362 BC during the Ptolemaic period. Located on Agilkia Island, this temple honors Isis, the goddess of motherhood, and narrates a fascinating tale of love, sacrifice, and devotion through its golden walls and exquisite architecture.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred to check in on your 5-star Nile cruise, where you can enjoy lunch and dinner, and spend the night relaxing aboard the luxurious cruise.

Early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast boxes, then join your private tour guide to visit one of the most historical sites in the world: the Abu Simbel Temples.

These colossal and everlasting temples were built in 1274 BC by King Ramses II (1279–1213 BC) to immortalize his great triumph at the golden Battle of Kadesh. They were also dedicated to the three gods Amun, Ptah, and Ra‑Horakhty, while showcasing Ramses II’s eternal love and devotion to his queen, Nefertari.

After your visit, return to your 5-star Nile Cruise to enjoy lunch and dinner, and spend the night relaxing on board.

Overnight: Onboard the Cruise

Start your day with a delicious breakfast onboard your Nile Cruise, then relax as you sail towards Kom Ombo.

Once you arrive, your tour guide will take you to explore the Kom Ombo Temple, a rare and fascinating temple with a unique double design. Built along the Nile during the Ptolemaic period (180–47 BC), it was dedicated to two gods: Haroeris “Horus the Elder” on the north side and Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile, on the south side.

Next, you will visit the impressive Edfu, the magnificent house of the sky falcon god Horus. This well-preserved temple, constructed between 237–57 BC, stands on sacred ground where the legendary battle between Horus and his evil uncle Set took place, deciding the fate of ancient Egypt.

After your visits, return to your cruise for lunch and dinner, then continue sailing to Luxor, arriving late at night. Spend a restful night onboard your luxurious cruise.

First, you will visit Karnak Temple, one of the greatest architectural masterpieces of ancient Egypt. Built between 1971–20 BC by the kings of the Middle and New Kingdoms, the temple complex is located at the heart of Thebes and honors the gods of the 18th Dynasty Theban Triad: Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Enjoy a delicious meal at a luxury Nile-view restaurant during your tour.

After lunch, explore the Valley of the Kings, a magical underground necropolis hidden in a sacred hill. Created during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), it houses 63 tombs belonging to kings and queens of the 18th, 19th, and 20th Dynasties, including Tutankhamun, Seti I, Hatshepsut, Amenhotep, Thutmose, and Ramses the Great.

Next, visit the magnificent Queen Hatshepsut Temple, an extraordinary example of divine art and architecture. Built in 1479 BC for Queen Hatshepsut and designed by her Overseer of Works Senenmut, the temple was dedicated to Amun, whom she served as chief priestess.

Then, marvel at the towering Colossi of Memnon, two seated statues of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and rebuilt during the Greco-Roman period. Standing 18 meters (60 ft) tall, they are inscribed with 107 Roman-era Latin and Greek texts, narrating the golden tales of the mythological King Memnon.
