11 Day Grand Luxury Egypt Experience: From Cairo to Abu Simbel & Hurghada

On the morning of your second day in Egypt, enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, then meet your private tour guide to begin an unforgettable adventure in the land of the Pharaohs. You will head to the Giza Pyramids Complex, the greatest archaeological treasure ever created, dating back to around 2600 BC and built by the rulers of the 4th Dynasty as eternal monuments to their power and beliefs.

You will explore the Great Pyramid of King Khufu (2609–2584 BC), the most extraordinary architectural masterpiece of the ancient world and the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of Antiquity. Constructed in 2570 BC by the brilliant architect Hemiunu, the pyramid rises to a height of 138.5 meters and was built using approximately 2.3 million limestone blocks weighing more than six million tons in total.

Nearby stands the Great Sphinx of Giza, a timeless symbol of strength and divine wisdom created by King Khafre (2558–2532 BC). With the body of a lion and the face of the king, the Sphinx guards the plateau, and between its paws lies the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, placed there in 1401 BC, telling the legendary story of kingship and destiny.

You will then visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, where sacred purification and mummification rituals were performed for the royal family of the 4th Dynasty, preparing them for their eternal journey to the afterlife.

The journey continues to the Grand Egyptian Museum, a spectacular cultural landmark aligned with the Giza Pyramids and spanning nearly 490,000 square meters. The museum showcases more than 5,000 years of ancient Egyptian history and includes one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East. Inside, you will admire iconic treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, the colossal Statue of Ramses II, and the complete collection of artifacts belonging to King Tutankhamun.

Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at a luxury restaurant overlooking the pyramids, then continue your tour to Saqqara, where you will visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. Built between 2670 and 2650 BC by the visionary architect Imhotep, this six-step pyramid rises to a height of 63 meters and marks the beginning of pyramid construction in ancient Egypt, launching a golden age of architectural innovation.

Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel to spend the rest of the day and overnight.

In the morning, you will check out of your hotel in Hurghada and be picked up in a private, modern, air-conditioned car for your transfer to Luxor.

Upon arrival, your private tour guide will take you on an exciting journey to explore the top attractions on the east bank of Luxor, starting with Karnak Temple. Here, you will walk through the magnificent Hypostyle Hall, stroll along the Avenue of Sphinxes, and discover the rich history of the 18th Dynasty Theban Triad: Mut, Khonsu, and Amun.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your 5-star luxury Nile cruise, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch and relax for a while.

In the evening, your guide will take you to visit the magical Luxor Temple by Night. Experience its enchanting illumination, admire its stunning architecture, and learn about its history as the coronation site for many New Kingdom pharaohs, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Mut, Khonsu, and Amun.

Finally, we will transfer you back to your luxury Nile Cruise for overnight.

On your second day aboard your luxury Nile Cruise, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before your tour guide picks you up to explore the west bank of Luxor.

You will start with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where you can walk among the royal tombs of ancient pharaohs. Then, you will continue to Hatshepsut Temple to admire its stunning architecture and terraces. Afterward, you will stop at the Colossi of Memnon to see these massive statues up close.

In the evening, your cruise will set sail towards Edfu, where you will spend the night aboard your luxurious Nile Cruise.

Explore the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, a stunning work of art that has stood the test of time, preserving the grand legacy of Ramses the Great (1279–1213 BC). Discover the story of his incredible victory at the Battle of Kadesh in 1247 BC and learn about the first-ever documented peace treaty. Don’t miss the magical Sun Festival, which honors Amun, Ptah, and Ra-Horakhty, held annually on February 22 and October 22. The second temple celebrates his beloved queen, Nefertari, under the protection of Hathor.

After completing your tour, you will be transferred back to Aswan to return to your Nile Cruise, enjoy lunch, and spend the rest of the day relaxing aboard your luxurious cruise.

First, you will join your tour guide for an incredible tour to explore the best-selected Aswan attractions. You will start with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, the extraordinary dam built between the 1960s and 1970s to control the annual floodwaters of Lake Nasser and generate hydroelectric power.

Next, you will visit the miraculous Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC), originally intended to reach the skies at the grand Karnak Temple. Today, it serves as a magical open-air museum, showcasing the golden legacy of ancient Egyptian builders who mastered the art of stone carving.

Then, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan, and get ready for your afternoon visit.

After lunch, you will explore the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood. Built between 380–362 BC during the Ptolemaic period, it was relocated in the 1960s to Agilkia Island, where it narrates the mythical tale of Osiris, her husband, and Horus, her son.

Finally, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport to catch your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will check in to your 5-star hotel for an overnight stay.

In the morning, have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for another wonderful day of your luxury vacation in Egypt.

First, your tour guide will take you to visit The Egyptian Museum, built in 1901 AD, where you can admire thousands of amazing artifacts that showcase over 5,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Then, you will enjoy lunch at a well-chosen local restaurant before continuing your exploration of Cairo.

After lunch, your guide will take you to the magical Hanging Church, dedicated to the Mother of God, Saint Virgin Mary. Built in the 5th century AD on the southern Roman gatehouses of Babylon Fortress, this church rises 30 ft above the ground and is a remarkable piece of art and history.

Next, visit Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque, the first mosque in Africa, completed in 641 AD. Located in the heart of the historic Fustat “City of Tents,” this mosque showcases the golden age of Islamic architecture in Egypt.

Afterward, explore the heavenly Ben Ezra Synagogue, a significant Jewish temple that was converted from a church in 882 AD and renovated during the 19th dynasty. Many believe this is the place where the prophet Moses was found. The synagogue houses important manuscripts in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Judeo-Arabic.

Then, visit the modern and fascinating National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), which features 50,000 pieces of art and 28 royal mummies, offering a deep insight into the history, religious rituals, and funerary art of ancient Egypt.

Next, stroll along Al Muizz Street, built during the Fatimid period in the 10th century. This street is a treasure trove of medieval Islamic architecture and sits near Khan El Khalili, reflecting the shining culture of Cairo.

Finally, end your day exploring the splendid Khan El Khalili Bazaar, created between 1382 and 1389 AD during the Mamluk period. This bustling market is full of outstanding shopping goods and unique artifacts crafted by skilled artisans.

Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel for the overnight.
