After enjoying your breakfast, get ready to begin your Cairo & Alexandria tour with your expert tour guide, exploring some of the most breathtaking and iconic attractions of this timeless land.
Your first stop is the legendary Giza Pyramids, home to one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. This magnificent complex was designed as a true reflection of the greatness of Ancient Egyptian Civilization and has stood proudly in the vast Western Desert for over 4,000 years, making it one of the oldest monuments in human history.
Marvel at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, one of the most important monuments ever built by humanity and the last remaining intact wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Constructed in 2580 BC, this awe-inspiring pyramid reaches a height of 147 m (481 ft) and remained the tallest structure in the world for over 3,800 years, until the construction of Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311. The King’s Chamber, Queen’s Chamber, and the grand halls inside showcase the ingenuity of ancient Egyptian engineering.
Next, admire the majestic Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt’s eternal guardian. Carved with the body of a lion and the head of a man—believed to represent King Khafre—it symbolizes wisdom and might. Known in ancient times as “Hor-Em-Akhet” (Horus of the Horizon) and today called Abu Al-Hawl (The Father of Terror), the Sphinx is the world’s oldest monumental statue, standing as a testament to Egypt’s divine artistry.
You will also explore the Valley Temple, located next to the Giza Pyramids, which was built during the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). This sacred site was used for the Mummification Process and remains one of the best-preserved structures of ancient Egypt, constructed entirely from red limestone and granite, and adorned with remarkable diorite statues of Pharaoh Khafre.
Continue your journey to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a cutting-edge marvel that spans nearly 490,000 square meters, aligned perfectly with the pyramids of Giza. GEM serves as a gateway to 5,000 years of Egyptian history, blending ancient artistry and modern innovation. Explore treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and the complete collection of over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun. GEM also houses one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, alongside advanced research labs and educational facilities dedicated to preserving Egypt’s heritage.
Enjoy a tasty lunch at a local Cairo restaurant, then continue your day by visiting the Saqqara Step Pyramid. This extraordinary pyramid is among the first ever constructed in Egypt (2700 BC) and marks the beginning of the golden age of pyramid building. Designed by the brilliant Imhotep, vizier of Pharaoh Djoser, the Step Pyramid features six monumental steps rising to a height of 62 meters, built entirely of limestone and surrounded by a 10.5-meter-high wall with 14 doors, showcasing the ingenuity and vision of early Egyptian architecture.
Finally, we drive you back to your hotel for the overnight.

Your day begins at the Egyptian Museum, the very first museum built in Cairo in 1901 AD. Here, you will witness an incredible collection of rare artifacts and monuments, providing a vivid glimpse into the majestic and golden history of Ancient Egypt.
Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local Cairo restaurant, then continue your journey to the historic Salah El-Din Citadel. Overlooking Cairo for more than 800 years, the citadel sits atop the Mokattam Hill, constructed in 1182 AD by the legendary conqueror Salah El-Din. This formidable fortress served as the seat of rulers and a defense against foreign invaders, including the Crusaders and Napoleon’s French troops. Inside its walls, discover fascinating museums and beautifully structured buildings, as the citadel witnessed centuries of monumental events.
Next, marvel at the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque, famously known as the Alabaster Mosque for its exquisite marble design. Constructed between 1830–1848 AD, it was inspired by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul and symbolizes Egypt’s independence and freedom from the Ottoman Empire. The mosque enchants visitors with its Ottoman-style architecture, French Rococo influences, and richly ornate red, green, and gold finishes, crowned by a magnificent dome. Inside, notice the ornate brass clock, a gift from King Louis Philippe of France in 1845, given in exchange for an obelisk now standing in the Concorde Square in Paris.
Continue your tour with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), inaugurated in 2017. The museum houses an extraordinary collection of over 50,000 artifacts, including 28 royal mummies, showcasing more than 4,000 years of Egyptian history and culture in an immersive and modern setting.
Stroll along the historic Al Muizz Street, a golden open-air museum that served as the main artery of the Fatimid capital during the 10th century AD. This cultural hub is lined with incredible examples of Islamic architecture and artistry, seamlessly connecting to the famous Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.
End your day wandering through the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the oldest and most vibrant street in the Middle East, also known as the Golden Brick Road. Dating back to 970 AD, this enchanting market remains alive with bustling shops and cafés, offering every imaginable souvenir, craft, and delight. The phenomenal Islamic architecture and decorations are remarkably well-preserved, creating a hypnotic and magical experience for all visitors.
At the end of the day, we will transfer you to the hotel for overnight.

Begin with the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a truly hypnotic site that beautifully showcases the influence of Ancient Egyptian culture on the Greco-Roman period. Built as a necropolis in the 2nd century AD, the catacombs merge Hellenistic, Roman, and Pharaonic artistic elements across three breathtaking levels. Marvel at the intricate Greek and Roman decorations, which earned this site the prestigious title of one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
Next, visit Pompey’s Pillar, the tallest monolith column outside Rome, standing proudly at 28 meters tall and 2.7 meters wide, carved from solid red granite. Named due to a medieval misconception that the remains of the Roman general Pompey were entombed at its top, this magnificent pillar also features a Greek inscription dedicated to Emperor Diocletian on its western side.
Then, explore the legendary Qaitbay Citadel, a stunning fusion of Greco-Roman and Islamic architecture, constructed in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa’it Bay on the very site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Built using stones salvaged from the destroyed lighthouse, once considered the third-longest surviving ancient wonder of the world, the citadel is believed to contain the immortal spirit of the legendary lighthouse, alongside remarkable Islamic-era designs.
Savor a delicious seafood lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your exploration at the Alexandria Library. Known worldwide as one of the largest and most advanced libraries, it commemorates the ancient Library of Alexandria. This trilingual library houses books in Arabic, English, and French, holding the largest collection of French books in North Africa and the Middle East. Beyond its literary treasures, the library boasts stunning art galleries and rare historical collections, offering an unparalleled cultural experience.
