After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will join your professional tour guide to begin the exploration of your 9 Days Egypt Budget Tour, starting with one of the most legendary sites on Earth—the Giza Pyramids
Dating back to around 2600 BC, this extraordinary plateau represents the pinnacle of ancient Egyptian civilization and is home to three magnificent pyramids and the iconic Great Sphinx.
Your visit includes the awe-inspiring Great Pyramid of Khufu, the most remarkable architectural achievement in human history. Known in ancient times as “Khufu’s Horizon,” it was designed by the royal vizier Hemiunu around 2570 BC and constructed over 27 years. Standing at an original height of 147 meters (481 ft), it is the oldest and only surviving monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, featuring the legendary King’s Chamber, Queen’s Chamber, and the majestic Grand Gallery.
Nearby stands the mythical Great Sphinx, an eternal symbol of power and wisdom. Carved from a single massive limestone rock during the reign of King Khafre (2558–2532 BC), it is the oldest monumental sculpture in the world, bearing the face of the king and the body of a lion.
You will also explore the sacred Valley Temple, constructed entirely of granite transported from Aswan. This temple played a vital role in the mummification process and the sacred Opening of the Mouth ritual, guiding the souls of the 4th Dynasty kings toward the afterlife.
Your journey through time continues at the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a modern architectural masterpiece aligned with the pyramids of Giza and spanning nearly 490,000 square meters. Serving as a gateway to over 5,000 years of history, the museum showcases priceless treasures including the Hanging Obelisk, the colossal 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and the complete collection of more than 5,000 artifacts belonging to Tutankhamun. GEM also houses one of the largest conservation and research centers in the Middle East, dedicated to preserving Egypt’s heritage.
After completing your visit to Giza, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo.
Later, you will head to Saqqara to explore the iconic Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt and the world’s first large-scale stone structure. Designed by the genius architect Imhotep between 2670–2650 BC during the 3rd Dynasty, this architectural masterpiece features a vast ceremonial courtyard filled with temples, shrines, and beautifully carved reliefs.
At the end of this enriching day, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for a relaxing overnight stay.
