You will start your second day by enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and once you’re ready, you will check out and meet your private tour guide. Today is all about stepping into the world of Ancient Egypt, starting with the breathtaking Giza Pyramids As you walk around, you will feel the history of over 4,000 years surrounding you. Imagine standing in front of the three main pyramids, the six smaller pyramids, the majestic Great Sphinx, and the sacred Valley Temple, a place where ancient rituals of immortality were performed.

Next, you will approach the Great Pyramid of Khufu, rising proudly against the sky. Known as the last intact structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it has fascinated humans for over 4,500 years. Picture the millions of limestone blocks, each weighing 2.5 tons, and imagine the 100,000 skilled workers who built it over 20 years. The pyramid once reached a staggering height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the tallest building in the world for nearly 4,000 years. Walking around it, you can almost feel the immense effort, precision, and genius that went into creating this timeless masterpiece.

Then, your eyes will meet the mysterious Great Sphinx, with its lion’s body and the head believed to be King Khafre, symbolizing power and wisdom. Known as Abu Al-Hawl, or “The Father of Terror,” it stretches 73 meters (240 ft) long and 19 meters (66 ft) high, carved from a single piece of limestone. You will be amazed at the sheer scale and the sense of mystery that has surrounded this iconic monument for millennia.

As you move on, you will explore the Valley Temple, where the sacred mummification rituals were performed during Egypt’s Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). Walk among its limestone and granite halls and see the unique diorite statues of King Khafre, imagining the ceremonies that took place thousands of years ago.

Next, you will be guided to the incredible Grand Egyptian Museum, a modern marvel that perfectly complements the ancient wonders around the Giza Pyramids. Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters, this museum is a window into 5,000 years of Egyptian history, artistry, and spirituality. As you walk through its halls, you will marvel at treasures like the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun, all carefully preserved and displayed to tell the story of Egypt’s rich past.

After immersing yourself in this incredible history, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo, giving you a chance to relax and savor traditional Egyptian flavors.

In the afternoon, your adventure continues at The Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and monuments, some over 4,000 years old. As you wander through its two floors, you will encounter rare and priceless treasures, each with a story waiting to be discovered, connecting you directly to the magic of ancient times.

Finally, as the day draws to a close, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Luxor, where your hotel awaits for check-in and a comfortable overnight stay, giving you time to rest and dream about the wonders you’ve experienced today.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Flight: From Cairo to Luxor

Overnight: Luxor Hotel

You will start your third day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, giving you energy for a full day of exploring the treasures of Luxor. Once ready, you will meet your Egyptologist tour guide, who will accompany you to some of the most famous and magical sites of ancient Egypt.

Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings a place that feels like stepping into a time capsule. Nestled in the heart of the holy mountains, it served as the final resting place of Egypt’s greatest kings and queens during the New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC). Here, you will explore 63 tombs, each filled with enchanting treasures, statues, intricate decorations, and the remains of pharaohs such as Rameses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the legendary King Tutankhamun. Imagine the history, mystery, and beauty preserved within these tombs, a reason why the valley became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Next, you will visit the Queen Hatshepsut Temple, a masterpiece known as the beauty of Luxor. Also called Djoser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies), this temple reflects the power and vision of one of the most successful rulers in ancient Egyptian history, Queen Hatshepsut. Built in 1479 BC over 15 years, its classical New Kingdom architecture, stunning statues, and detailed decorations will leave you in awe. Walking through the temple, you will feel the grandeur and elegance of this sacred site.

Then, you will see the imposing Colossi of Memnon, the colossal guardians of Luxor. These two massive quartzite sandstone statues stand 18 meters (60 ft) tall, each weighing 720 tons, and depict Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC). Although they were damaged by an earthquake in 27 BC, they were rebuilt in 199 AD. During the Greco-Roman period, the statues became famous for the “Vocal Memnon”, a mysterious sound produced at dawn by the wind passing through the statues. Standing before them, you will feel their ancient majesty and power.

After this incredible morning, you will enjoy lunch on an island, combined with a relaxing boat trip on the Nile River, letting you soak in the beauty of the river that was the lifeline of ancient Egypt.

In the afternoon, your adventure continues at the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the holiest places on Earth. Known as Ipet-isu (The Most Selected Of Places) and Pr-Imn (House of Amon), it dates back over 4,000 years. As the largest religious man-made construction in the world and one of the biggest open-air museums, it was the center of worship for more than 1,500 years, dedicated primarily to the Theban triad—God Amun, his wife Goddess Mut, and their son the moon god Khonsu, along with other gods like Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis. Walking through its vast halls, you will feel the spirituality, history, and incredible scale of this sacred site.

Finally, after an unforgettable day of discovery, you will return to your hotel in Luxor for a comfortable overnight stay, reflecting on the wonders you have seen and dreaming about the adventures still to come.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight: Luxor Hotel

You will begin your fourth day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Luxor, preparing for another incredible day of discovery. After breakfast, you will check out and board a first-class train to Aswan, enjoying a comfortable and scenic journey through the heart of Egypt.

Upon your arrival in Aswan, your private Egyptologist tour guide will be waiting to accompany you on a tour of the city’s most remarkable attractions. Your first stop will be the High Dam, a symbol of modern engineering and the power of Aswan. Built between 1960 and 1970 during the reign of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, the High Dam was a cooperative project with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute. You will learn how it controls the Nile floods, generates hydroelectric power, and provides increased water storage for irrigation in Lake Nasser, a feat of modern ingenuity that transformed the region.

Next, you will explore the fascinating Unfinished Obelisk, an awe-inspiring testament to the ambition and skill of ancient Egyptian builders. Ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of Karnak Temple, it was intended to pierce the sky, known as “Tekhenu.” Imagine its massive scale: 42 meters high, weighing 1,200 tons, and the precision needed to carve it from solid granite. Although it cracked during construction and was left unfinished, it remains a remarkable open-air example of ancient Egyptian engineering and craftsmanship.

After this remarkable morning, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan, giving you a chance to relax and savor traditional Egyptian cuisine while preparing for the next highlight of your day.

In the afternoon, you will visit the legendary Philae Temple, an enchanting site that brings to life the myth of Osiris. Here, you will hear the story of Osiris, husband of Isis, who was killed by his jealous brother Set, resurrected to rule the underworld, and whose legacy was carried on by his son Horus, the sky god, bringing an end to tyranny and injustice. The temple itself is a masterpiece of ancient architecture, originally built on Philae Island but relocated in the 1960s to Agilkia Island as part of a UNESCO-led rescue mission after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. As you walk around, you will feel the mystical charm, historical depth, and spiritual significance that make Philae Temple one of Egypt’s most magical destinations.

Finally, after a day filled with history, culture, and wonder, you will check in at your hotel in Aswan to relax and spend the night, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the day and preparing for the adventure that awaits at Abu Simbel tomorrow.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight: Aswan Hotel

It's a very long description. Please make it shorter . You will start your fifth day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Aswan, and then check out to begin an unforgettable journey to Abu Simbel. You will be transferred in a private air-conditioned car, joined by your private Egyptologist tour guide, as you travel toward one of Egypt’s most legendary and awe-inspiring sites.

Upon arrival, you will stand in front of the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, two grand monuments that have guarded the southern border of Egypt for thousands of years. These temples were created by King Ramses II (1279–1213 BCE) during the New Kingdom, designed to immortalize his legacy for eternity. Everything about Abu Simbel reflects grandeur, glory, and unmatched architectural brilliance. The larger temple, known as the Temple of Ramesses, beloved by Amun, is where the famous sun festival occurs twice a year, on February 22nd and October 22nd, when sunlight perfectly illuminates the faces of the four seated statues of Ramses II, Amun (The Creator God), Ptah (God of Creation), and Ra (Sun God).

The smaller temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, Ramses II’s beloved wife, and honors the goddess Hathor, showcasing stunning statues, hieroglyphics, and the masterful artistry of ancient Egyptian builders. Walking through Abu Simbel, you will feel the immensity of history and the remarkable skill that went into creating these monumental structures.

These temples were also part of one of the most challenging archaeological rescue missions in history, led by UNESCO in the mid-1960s, when they were relocated to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Seeing them today is a rare opportunity to witness an enduring symbol of Egypt’s ancient genius.

After marveling at this iconic site, you will return to Aswan in your air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, giving you time to relax and reflect on the grandeur you just experienced.

Finally, your journey continues as you catch your flight back to Cairo, where you will be transferred to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay, concluding a day filled with awe, history, and unforgettable memories of Abu Simbel.
