Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, then join your private Egyptologist tour guide for an unforgettable journey through the most iconic Cairo tourist attractions.

Begin your exploration with the magnificent Giza Pyramids, one of the oldest and largest archaeological sites on Earth, standing proudly for over 5,000 years. This golden complex is considered the greatest open-air museum in the world, where the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization comes to life.

At the heart of the complex lies The Great Pyramid of Khufu, created around 2570 BC. Known as Khufu's horizon, this architectural masterpiece is the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. Rising to a height of 147 meters (481 ft) and weighing six million tons, it was the tallest and heaviest building in the world for millennia. Explore the King’s Chamber and Queen’s Chamber, marveling at the sophisticated design and engineering that still amazes scholars and visitors alike.

Next, witness the enigmatic Great Sphinx, a majestic guardian carved from a single massive limestone block. With the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre, the Sphinx symbolizes strength, wisdom, and the divine spirit of Horus. Standing 73 meters (240 ft) long and 19 meters (66 ft) high, this golden warrior from paradise has stood the test of time since the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC), shrouded in mystery and awe.

Then, visit the Valley Temple, a perfectly preserved masterpiece of Old Kingdom art. Built by King Khafre, it served as a sacred site for mummification rituals and the “Opening of the Mouth” ceremony, a crucial event in ancient Egyptian religious practices. This temple reveals priceless insights into the spiritual and mythical beliefs of the ancient Egyptians.

Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a modern golden portal to Egypt’s 5,000-year-old history. Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters and aligned with the Giza Pyramids, GEM houses breathtaking treasures including the Hanging Obelisk, the colossal 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and the complete collection of over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun. The museum features one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, along with research labs and educational facilities dedicated to preserving Egypt’s heritage for future generations.

Enjoy a delightful meal at a pyramid-view Nile restaurant, soaking in the views of the iconic landmarks before continuing your tour to:

The legendary Egyptian Museum, a sacred home of ancient marvels. This two-story building hosts the world’s most extensive collection of Egyptian artifacts and monuments, spanning over 5,000 years. Discover statues, funerary objects, the Narmer Palette, Papyrus scrolls, and countless other treasures that reveal the grandeur, artistry, and spiritual depth of ancient Egyptian civilization.

After finishing your tour, transfer back to the hotel overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight: Cairo Hotel

Start your day with a pleasant breakfast at your hotel, then check out and head to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet your private Egyptologist tour guide and begin exploring some of Aswan’s most remarkable attractions.

Begin with the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel constructed between 1960 and 1970 during the presidency of Gamal Abdel Nasser. Built in cooperation with the Soviet Union’s Hydroproject Institute, the dam controls the Nile’s floods, stores water in the artificial Lake Nasser, generates hydroelectric power, and provides essential irrigation for agriculture. Its impressive scale and historical significance make it a must-see landmark in Aswan.

Next, visit the fascinating Unfinished Obelisk, which was intended to soar into the skies as a magnificent pillar commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) for the grand entrance of Karnak Temple. Reaching a height of 41.75 meters (137 ft) and weighing over 1,200 tons, the obelisk cracked during the carving process and remains in the bedrock. Today, it stands as a spectacular open-air museum, showcasing the incredible skill, tools, and techniques of ancient Egyptian artisans.

Enjoy a delicious meal at a top-rated restaurant in Aswan, preparing for the next highlight of the day.

After lunch, explore the magical Philae Temple, which preserves the legendary Myth of Osiris. Here, the story of Osiris, husband of Isis, who is murdered by his brother Set, and resurrected as the ruler of the underworld, comes to life. Isis and her son Horus, the falcon-headed god of protection and victory, play pivotal roles in this timeless tale. Constructed between 380–362 BC during the Ptolemaic Empire, Philae Temple is one of Egypt’s last-built and most exquisite temples. In the 1960s, the temple was carefully relocated to Agilkia Island as part of a UNESCO-led rescue mission, preserving its grandeur for generations to come.

After that you will check in at a hotel in Aswan to spend your overnight.

Flight: From Cairo to Aswan

Overnight: Aswan Hotel

Early morning, you will be transferred with your breakfast boxes by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to visit the most historical archaeological site in Egypt: the Abu Simbel Temples

The incredible Temple of Ramses II, beloved by Amun, is the custodian of Egypt’s southern border and a celestial evidence of the immortal power and legacy of King Ramses II (1279–1213 BCE), who created this epic architectural masterpiece in 1264 BC during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC) to eternalize his heritage and identity to this day.

Abu Simbel is made up of two temples:

  • The massive temple is dedicated to Ramses II, where the famous Sun Festival takes place on February 22nd and October 22nd every year, when the sunlight shines on the faces of the four seated statues of the divine King Ramses II, Amun (The Creator God), Ptah (God of Creation), and Ra-Horakhty.

  • The smaller temple is dedicated to his beloved Queen Nefertari and honors the goddess Hathor.

This temple was part of a rescue mission, considered the most challenging archaeological operation in history, led by UNESCO in the mid-1960s.

Finally, you will return to Aswan to enjoy your lunch.
