Itineraries

Your journey begins as our Deluxe Tours Egypt representative picks you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor. You will then be accompanied by your private Egyptologist guide, who will lead you on an unforgettable exploration of Luxor’s West Bank—the legendary land of ancient kings and timeless secrets.

Then, you will start your way to the incredible Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s greatest rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty. This sacred valley contains more than 60 tombs, including the tombs of Ramses II and the famous young king Tutankhamun. The tombs are filled with treasures and items that the pharaohs believed they would need in the afterlife. The tombs contain colorful paintings and hieroglyphics that tell stories of the afterlife.

Next, you will go to the incredible Temple of Hatshepsut, considered one of the most elegant and well-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. The temple was built for the famous female pharaoh Hatshepsut and consists of three grand terraces, connected by a wide central ramp. The temple blends well with the cliffs. The temple’s walls are adorned with detailed scenes of her life, achievements, and divine birth.

Take a relaxing time to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor.

Then, you will go to the incredible Colossi of Memnon, two huge stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The colossal statues are the only remaining part of his huge mortuary temple. The statues are carved from quartzite sandstone blocks transported from Cairo to Luxor, a distance of more than 700 km. The colossal statues have stood for thousands of years, famous for making strange sounds in the early morning, called the “Singing Statues.”

Finally, after a long but exciting day of exploring the wonders of the West Bank of Luxor, you will be taken back to your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor.
