First, you will visit the magnificent Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built in history and one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world. Known in ancient times as “Pr-Imn” (House of Amun), Karnak was dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, along with other deities who each had their own shrines. Construction of this vast complex began around 2000 BC and continued until 30 AD, spanning approximately 247 acres, making it the largest open-air museum on Earth. One of its most iconic features is the Avenue of Sphinxes, a remarkable pathway that once connected Karnak Temple to Luxor Temple, showcasing the artistic brilliance of ancient Egyptian craftsmen.
Then, you will proceed to check in at your 5★ Nile cruise, where you will enjoy your lunch onboard and take some time to relax and refresh.
In the evening, you will be picked up once again to visit the stunning Luxor Temple by Night, one of the most beautifully illuminated temples in Egypt. Built around 1400 BC, Luxor Temple was dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu and served as a center for royal ceremonies and the famous Opet Festival, which symbolized the rejuvenation of kingship. The temple was later recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, reflecting its global historical significance.

First, you will visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, located deep within a sacred desert valley and considered the final resting place of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC). This remarkable site contains 63 tombs filled with treasures and beautifully decorated chambers belonging to great rulers such as Ramses the Great, Hatshepsut, Seti I, Tutankhamun, and many others, reflecting the rich beliefs and funerary traditions of ancient Egypt.
Then, you will proceed to the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple, built between (1507–1458 BC) to honor one of the most powerful female rulers in ancient Egyptian history. This stunning temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut and the god Amun, the sun god, and is considered one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, perfectly blending with the surrounding cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.
Next, you will visit the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, originally constructed around 1350 BC. First, you will visit the magnificent Edfu Temple, known as the “Monument of Immortal Victories.” Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, this temple was constructed between 237 BC and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic period. It is one of the most complete and best-preserved temples in Egypt, offering valuable insights into ancient Egyptian religion, mythology, and language through its detailed inscriptions and reliefs that decorate its walls.
After the visit, you will return to your cruise to enjoy your lunch onboard while sailing towards Kom Ombo.
Upon arrival, you will visit the unique Kom Ombo, often referred to as the “Double Temple” due to its symmetrical design. Built between 180 BC and 47 BC, the temple features two entrances, two hypostyle halls, and two sanctuaries, each dedicated to two different deities: Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek, the crocodile god associated with fertility and the Nile. This rare dual dedication makes Kom Ombo one of the most distinctive temples in Egypt.
After the visit, you will return to your cruise to enjoy dinner onboard and continue sailing towards Aswan, where you will spend the overnight in comfort and relaxation along the Nile.

In the morning, after breakfast onboard the cruise, you will begin your guided tour to explore the highlights of Aswan with your private Egyptologist guide.
First, you will visit the impressive High Dam of Aswan, constructed between 1960 and 1970 across the Nile River. This modern engineering marvel played a significant role in controlling flooding, generating hydroelectric power, and supporting Egypt’s agricultural development, making it one of the most important infrastructure projects in the country’s modern history.
Next, you will continue to the fascinating Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). This massive obelisk, left incomplete due to a crack in the granite, provides valuable insight into ancient stone-cutting techniques and is considered one of the largest known obelisks ever attempted. It remains an open-air site that showcases the remarkable craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian builders.
Then, you will visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, the symbol of love, motherhood, and magic in ancient Egyptian mythology. Originally built during the reign of Ptolemy II around 280 BC, the temple was later relocated to Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign in the 1960s and 1970s to protect it from rising Nile waters.
