Itineraries

In the early morning, you will be picked up by our private tour guide in a private A/C car, then head to Luxor to begin your journey through its most remarkable attractions.

First, you will visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, where the heavens seem to smile upon this holy land. It was constructed over 4000 years ago on 247 acres of land, containing three main temples along with several inner and outer sanctuaries. For more than 1500 years, it has stood as one of the largest religious man-made complexes on earth and served as the worship center of the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Then, you will proceed to visit the iconic Luxor Temple, a masterpiece built around 1400 BCE during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Known in ancient times as “Ipetresyet,” meaning the southern sanctuary, this temple hosted many important festivals, including the Opet Festival, and was dedicated to the god Amun, symbolizing the rejuvenation of kingship.

Next, it will be time for lunch, which will be served on an island after enjoying a relaxing boat trip on the Nile. After lunch, you will check in at your 5★ hotel in Luxor.

Finally, in the evening, you will enjoy the spectacular Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple Complex, where the monuments come to life as the history of ancient Thebes and the rise of Karnak are vividly narrated. The colossal statues of the pharaohs will tell the timeless story of this great civilization, accompanied by poetic descriptions of the ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures surrounding the temple.

After the show, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor

. Meals: Lunch
Overnight: Luxor Hotel

You will have your breakfast and check out from the hotel, then you will be taken by a private air-conditioned vehicle accompanied by your private tour guide to explore Luxor West Bank attractions.

First, you will visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, known as the heavenly passage of the immortals. It contains 63 tombs belonging to rulers from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of Egypt’s New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC), filled with remarkable treasures, artifacts, and beautifully decorated burial chambers, including the tombs of famous pharaohs such as Rameses II, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and Tutankhamun. The Valley of the Kings was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Then, you will proceed to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning monument dedicated to the creator god Amun and built to immortalize the legacy of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most successful rulers of ancient Egypt. The temple features a brilliant architectural design in the style of New Kingdom classical architecture, constructed on three terraces connected by two wide central ramps.

Next, you will stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues made of quartzite sandstone standing 18 meters high and weighing around 720 tons each, representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC). These statues were originally transported from Cairo to Luxor and have endured through history, surviving damage from an earthquake in 27 BC before being restored in 199 AD.

Finally, you will enjoy your lunch at a Nile view restaurant before driving back to your hotel in Hurghada, marking the end of your two-day trip to Luxor from Hurghada.
