In the morning, a representative from Deluxe Tours Egypt will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cairo to begin your 2-day Cairo & Alexandria tour. First, upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will meet your Egyptologist tour guide who will accompany you throughout the day to explore the rich history of Ancient Egypt. Then, you will head to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Giza Pyramids, where you will discover its monumental legacy. Next, you will explore the iconic structures inside the complex, starting with the The Great Pyramid, the timeless masterpiece built for King Khufu and considered one of the greatest achievements of ancient engineering. Then, you will proceed to admire the legendary The Great Sphinx, a mythical guardian carved from limestone that has stood as a symbol of strength and mystery for centuries. Next, you will visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, where ancient mummification rituals and purification ceremonies were performed, showcasing remarkable preservation and historical significance.

First, you will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out process, then you will embark on a fascinating private tour to Alexandria accompanied by your private Egyptologist tour guide to begin exploring the city’s remarkable historical landmarks.
Then, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which is considered one of the rarest and most exotic archaeological monuments in Egypt. Dating back from the 2nd century to the 4th century, this site became one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages, where the Mound of Shards stands as a magical attraction and an artistic masterpiece worth exploring.
Next, you will continue to Pompey’s Pillar, a remarkable and iconic monument known as a Roman triumphal granite column commissioned during the reign of Emperor Diocletian and constructed between 298–302 AD. Standing at 26.85 meters high, it is considered one of the largest ancient monoliths and columns ever built.
Then, you will proceed to the Citadel of Qaitbey, a powerful and inspiring fortress located along the Mediterranean Sea coast. Built between 1477 and 1479 AD, it stands on the very site where the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria once existed, and some of its stones were even reused in its construction.
Next, you will enjoy your lunch at a seafood restaurant, where you can relax and refresh before continuing the tour.
Finally, you will visit the Alexandria Library, the modern National Library of Alexandria established in 2002 as a tribute to the ancient library. We are offering the minimum down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel services. The remaining balance can be paid up to four days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your Representative.
In case you cancel your trip, the following of charges will be applied: From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 7% of the tour package price will be charged. Between 60 and 21 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour Package price will be charged. Between 20 and 7 days before your arrival date, 40% of the package tour price will be charged. Between 6 and 1 days before your arrival date, 75% of the tour package price will be applied.
