Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in El Gouna and transfer you to Hurghada International Airport to catch your flight to Cairo and begin your 2-day Cairo & Alexandria tour.
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, your Egyptologist guide will meet and assist you, then accompany you to start your sightseeing tour.
First, you will visit Giza Pyramids, one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world, established around 2600 BC as a symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization and royal legacy. The complex includes several monumental structures that reflect the brilliance of ancient engineering and spiritual beliefs.
Then, you will explore the magnificent Great Pyramid of Giza, built in 2570 BC as the eternal resting place of Pharaoh Khufu. Designed by the architect Hemiunu, it stands as one of the greatest achievements in human history, originally reaching 138.5 meters in height and constructed using millions of limestone blocks.
Next, you will admire the legendary Great Sphinx of Giza, the mysterious guardian of the plateau carved from a single limestone block, featuring the body of a lion and the face attributed to Pharaoh Khafre. The monument also features the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV added during the New Kingdom.
After that, you will visit the sacred Valley Temple of Khafre, a key site used for purification and mummification rituals, preserving some of the most remarkable statues and architectural elements from ancient Egypt.
Then, you will proceed to the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum, a modern architectural masterpiece spanning nearly 490,000 square meters. Enjoy your breakfast and check out from your hotel in Cairo, then proceed to begin your private excursion to Alexandria with your Egyptologist guide.
First, you will visit Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an extraordinary underground necropolis dating back to the Greco-Roman period between the 2nd and 4th centuries AD. This remarkable site is considered one of the largest Roman burial complexes and showcases a unique blend of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic influences.
Then, you will explore Pompey's Pillar, a towering Roman column made of red granite standing about 28 meters high. Built between 298 and 302 AD in honor of Emperor Diocletian, it remains one of the most significant ancient monuments in Alexandria.
Next, you will visit the historic Citadel of Qaitbay a strong defensive fortress constructed between 1477 and 1479 AD during the Mamluk era. It was built on the same location as the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Enjoy your lunch at a local seafood restaurant in Alexandria before continuing your tour.
Then, you will visit the modern landmark Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a cultural masterpiece inaugurated in 2002 to honor the legacy of the ancient Library of Alexandria. It serves as a global center for knowledge, housing millions of books, exhibitions, galleries, and research facilities.
Finally, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight back to Hurghada International Airport, then continue to your hotel in El Gouna, marking the end of your Cairo & Alexandria tour.

We are offering the minimum down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel services. The remaining balance can be paid up to four days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your Representative.
In case you cancel your trip, the following of charges will be applied: From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 7% of the tour package price will be charged. Between 60 and 21 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour Package price will be charged. Between 20 and 7 days before your arrival date, 40% of the package tour price will be charged. Between 6 and 1 days before your arrival date, 75% of the tour package price will be applied.
