Itineraries

Your journey into the heart of the "Jewel of the Nile" begins with a private morning pickup from your hotel in Cairo. You will be escorted in a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan, where your dedicated team and professional Egyptologist guide will be waiting to commence your elite 5-star Nile cruise experience.

Your first encounter with Egypt’s engineering prowess is the Aswan High Dam, a massive construction project completed in 1971. You will learn how this 20th-century marvel transformed the Egyptian landscape, creating Lake Nasser—one of the largest artificial lakes in the world—and providing the nation with a sustainable source of electricity and water.

Next, you will visit the ancient granite quarries to witness the Unfinished Obelisk. Commissioned by the influential Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC), this monolith was intended to be the largest ever built, standing at 42 meters and weighing over 1,000 tons. You will explore the "living museum" of stone-carving techniques and see the crack that halted the construction of this 3,500-year-old masterpiece.

Following a smooth check-in and a delicious lunch onboard your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise, you will board a private boat to reach the magical Agilkia Island. Here, you will explore the Philae Temple, the immortal home of Isis, the goddess of motherhood. Built between 380-362 BC, this romantic sanctuary preserves the greatest tale in human history—the Myth of Osiris—set against the stunning backdrop of the old Aswan Dam.

Return to your Nile cruise for a refined dinner as the golden light fades over the river. Enjoy your first overnight stay onboard, soaking in the tranquil ambiance of the Nile as you prepare for the voyage ahead.

Meals: Professional Chef’s Lunch & Dinner

Flight: Private Transfer & Flight (Cairo to Aswan)

Overnight: Onboard 5* Deluxe Nile Cruise

On the second day of your 4-day Nile expedition, wake up to the gentle rhythm of the river. Enjoy a relaxing morning and a delicious breakfast onboard as you stay at leisure, soaking in the sun on the deck or enjoying the cruise facilities. At midday, your 5-star vessel begins its elegant navigation toward the "Hill of Gold."

Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will join your private Egyptologist to visit the extraordinary Kom Ombo Temple. This unique double-design masterpiece stands out as a golden architectural feat from the Ptolemaic dynasty (180 BC – 47 BC).

Unlike any other site in Egypt, this temple is perfectly symmetrical along its main axis, possessing two identical dual religious centers:

The Southern Half: Dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, the deity of fertility and creator of the world.

The Northern Half: Dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris (Horus the Elder), the solar god of victory and protection.

As you wander through the twin entrances and sanctuaries, your guide will point out the famous reliefs of ancient surgical instruments, which provide a fascinating window into early Egyptian medical science. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Crocodile Museum nearby, which houses well-preserved mummies of the sacred reptiles that once basked on the riverbanks here.

After your tour, return to the comfort of your cruise to continue your journey north toward Edfu. As the ship glides through the Nile Valley, enjoy a refined lunch and dinner served by our professional chefs. Spend the night onboard, drifting into a peaceful sleep under the starlit sky of Upper Egypt.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Onboard

Overnight: Onboard 5* Deluxe Nile Cruise

After enjoying a delicious breakfast onboard, your third day begins with an immersive journey into the "Golden Age" of Ptolemaic architecture. You will be escorted by your private Egyptologist to witness one of the most impeccably preserved monuments of the ancient world.

Dedicated to Horus the Falcon, the sky god of protection and kingship, the Edfu Temple is an architectural marvel that stands as a "library in stone." Built between 237 BC and 57 BC, this massive sandstone fortress is so complete that it challenges our perception of time.

You will enter through the Great Pylon, one of the largest in Egypt, where dramatic reliefs depict the Pharaoh smiting his enemies before the gods. As you wander through the hypostyle halls and into the inner sanctuary, your guide will reveal the "mythological secrets" carved into the walls, including the legendary Battle between Horus and Seth. Because the temple was buried under 12 meters of desert sand and Nile silt until its discovery in 1860, the inscriptions and even some of the original vibrant colors remain exceptionally clear, providing the most detailed account of ancient Egyptian theology ever discovered.

After your exploration, return to the cruise to begin the most scenic leg of your voyage. As the ship sails north toward Luxor, you will pass through the Esna Lock, a fascinating engineering experience where the vessel is leveled to match the river's height.

Spend your afternoon on the sun deck, watching the timeless scenes of river life—lush palm groves, traditional feluccas, and local farmers—drift serenely past. A refined lunch and dinner will be served onboard by our professional chefs, followed by a final night of tranquility on the water as you arrive at the gates of the "World’s Greatest Open-Air Museum."

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Onboard

Overnight: Onboard 5* Deluxe Nile Cruise

After enjoying a final delicious breakfast onboard and completing your check-out, your journey reaches its peak. You will be accompanied by your private Egyptologist to explore the "World’s Greatest Open-Air Museum," starting with the legendary monuments of the West Bank.

Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, a "fortified village of kingship" hidden deep within the Theban Necropolis. For over 500 years during the New Kingdom, this valley served as the royal gateway to the afterlife for 63 monarchs, including Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I. You will descend into the beautifully decorated tombs to witness vibrant wall paintings and intricate hieroglyphics that shed light on the funerary rituals and divine journeys of Egypt’s greatest rulers.

Next, you will visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of classical architecture hovering in the stony cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Built in the 15th century BC, this three-tiered sanctuary honored the blessings of Amun-Re and eternalized the legacy of one of Egypt’s most successful female Pharaohs. Its elegant colonnades and unique design make it one of the most photographed sites in the world.

Before crossing back to the East Bank, you will stand before the Colossi of Memnon. These two massive quartzite statues of Amenhotep III have stood their ground since 1350 BC. Despite centuries of environmental challenges, they remain highly important landmarks that showcase fascinating details from the New Kingdom and the subsequent Greco-Roman period.

After a refreshing lunch at an oriental restaurant, you will head to the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious compound ever built. This "enlightening open-air museum" was constructed over 2,000 years to honor the Theban Triad of Amun-Re, Mut, and Montu. You will be awestruck by the Great Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 134 massive columns, and the towering pylons that form the heart and soul of ancient Thebes.

Following this epic exploration, we will transfer you directly to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, a private vehicle will be waiting to drive you to your hotel, concluding your majestic 4-day Nile Cruise expedition with memories of a lifetime.
