Itineraries

First, our Deluxe Tours Egypt representative will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor to begin a magical journey through the ancient city of Luxor with your private tour guide.

Then you’ll visit the Valley of the Kings, a heavenly necropolis that served as the final resting place for the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC). This enchanted valley holds 63 royal tombs, including the legendary tombs of Ramses II, Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Hatshepsut.

Inside, the walls are adorned with intricate hieroglyphs and colorful paintings depicting the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife, making it a truly mesmerizing experience.

After that, you’ll head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to one of the most successful female pharaohs in Egyptian history (1507–1458 BC). Built on three grand terraces, this temple honors her legacy and the blessings of the sun god Amun. Its stunning classical architecture and the nearby Festival Valley transport visitors to the grandeur of ancient Egypt.

Next, discover the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, erected in 1350 BC to guard the ruins of his mortuary temple. These giant stone figures fascinated the ancient Greeks and Romans and remain a testament to the power and artistry of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Then enjoy a relaxing lunch on a Nile island, combined with a scenic boat trip along the Nile River, soaking in the beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

After lunch, your tour continues at the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the most divine and majestic sites in Egypt. Spanning 247 acres, the temple honors the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, as well as numerous other gods. Explore the Avenue of Sphinxes, the colossal hypostyle halls, and the sacred sanctuaries built between 2000 BC and 30 AD, a remarkable journey across centuries of architectural mastery.

Finally, you’ll visit the Luxor Temple, the southern sanctuary of the Theban triad, established in 1400 BC. This temple was the heart of the Opet Festival, celebrating the rejuvenation of kingship. Today, it forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, standing as a magnificent symbol of ancient Egyptian religious and cultural life.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile Cruise, filled with memories of Luxor’s timeless wonders.
